Ilaqai Nasal, Tirah Valley outdoor grow

Sounds like an acquired taste.

I have managed through continuous bending and folding to begin to create a canopy. Looking good.

Up potted all except Tiny Tim (a female that needs a feminine name now.)to 5 gallon fabric bags this weekend. Hope I don’t regret it!
@LandraceWarden the leaves have gotten much bigger.

Sounds like an explosion waiting to happen… so I’m thinking Tiny Tina fits quite well.

Not much of an update…but the plants are beginning to bud now, 17 days into flower, plus whatever days they were already into flower. I may have missed the stretch. What I mean is, the stretch may have predominant occurred when the plants were in small containers, which restricted their size. I thought these wouldn’t flower for another few weeks at least, until our days were shorter, but it appears that by early August they are started.
They may still gain size as they flower, we’ll see.

That sounds like the semi auto trait like the Syrian X Lebs I got from @lefthandseeds that is very interesting to say the least

How did I just found this? Beautiful plants and that is quite a nice canopy. With all the growth around it seems like even canopy might be your best way to go. Is that effective outside like it is inside?

I don’t think theyre semi autos, they just start flower quickly when flipped. I’m used to tropical plants and sometimes I forget what it’s like growing a Northern strain😁

An even canopy is the goal. Works good outdoors, too.

The Tirah regional landrace indoors, and out of control
6 ft in a tiny pot pure NLD funk and exhibiting its dominance over the grow area.

That’s great! Epic! A strong argument in favor of synthetic nutrients and landrace genetics.
The canopy is filling in on my plants now. One plant has pretty pink pistils and another is showing anthocyanin production. It’s pretty hard for me to judge which plant is best. Normally I can tell but these are different from anything i’ve grown. In the next few weeks i’m sure I’ll be able to pick one.

Tough keeping up with Nitrogen with all the rain. We have a nice week coming up so I expect them to finally green up all the way.

Ilaqai Nasal coming along nicely. The branches and bud sites filled in just enough for a canopy, and look to be growing. Next year I’ll allow them to get bigger before I flower them. I’m really surprised I missed most of the stretch before July 23rd, when flower started. A couple males flowered naturally early August so the earliest females form flowers naturally here around mid August -end of August. The stretch starts a month or 6 weeks prior, best guess.
Smells are delicious and unique. Hard to describe. Not floral, not fruity ( except miss Pinktips,)not nasty…not sour, not sweet

Mostly fruity smells predominate so far. One is very much like oranges, One smells like grape juice, and the rest smell like various berries.
