Ilaqai Nasal, Tirah Valley outdoor grow

How many fingers on that last pic leaf? I can’t tell but looks like 15 fingers. Those pink pistils are just Fucking amazing! Wow you never cease to blow me away!

@420noob Thanks. I have some luck on my side😁 11 finger leaves including the extra 2 on top. Neat leaf. That one is male.
Miss Pink stigmas is a looker. Nice fruity smell to her, too. First Pink Haired plant I’ve grown. I’ve seen a few here and there over the years, but not like this one. Unfortunately there are no cloneable shoots on her. I’ll have to make a few seeds on her for another chance next year.

Starting week 7 of flowering. The smells are much stronger now, mainly revolving around citrus smells like oranges. One in particular has an orange Julius smell to it, another is citrus and cloves/ potpourri. All smell great…
I see from old photos that I topped the plants at the beginning of flowering, and it worked better than I imagined at controlling height, which was increased about 2x or 2 1/2×
These can be grown indoors, no problem.

they are looking nice, also decent trichome coverage

Resin is growing fast now. Whats more impressive is that the plants are handling the rain so well. I have them where I grew Sudan, which was just hammered by Septoria last year.
I caught a whiff of a Miss Pistachio( Amalgamated Tirah) type smell this morning on one of the plants. Its neat growing a relative so quickly one after the other. Now I know where the smell comes from. Another plants’ smell morphed quickly, with predominantly fruity citrus smells giving way to a heavenly perfume type scent that lingers on the fingers :heart_eyes:

Good structure (leaf to calyx), and generous trichomes. Smart move my making a canopy instead of one primary flower.

Believe it or not I want to select a couple different lines. One with good flower to leaf ratio for bud, and a nice resinous leafy pheno for hashmaking for a better yield

2 puffs off miss Pink hair and I’m pretty ripped. Nice relaxing very different buzz. Head high but a loopy high. Picked a decent size bud off of her last night And it wasn’t until I looked at it with a flashlight that I noticed all the fresh stigmas. She still has some time to flower yet.
One plant is finished. Others I had planned on picking soon have produced another round of flowers…a great trait when you have an Indian summer up North. She’s ripe and smokable earlier, but you can leave her to produce more if the weather allows. Fresh pics coming soon.

Flowering began July 23rd with a long veg beforehand. They flower fast enough For northern latitudes, but start too late to finish in most places.
I would recommend anyone trying these germinate a whole entire pack if looking for something to finish outdoors.(42 north. Mid Oct is seasons end here) I think the quick ones could be done by the third week in October or Halloween at my latitude. The later plants keep flowering but are likely pickable earlier…they bulk up as they flower.
No septoria
Two small spots of budrot after a deluge on just 2 plants. ( I found a couple more small areas of rot…from old seed casings)
Calyxes from preflowers don’t rot, they yellow and fall off, a great quality.
I’ll be making an ibl of this Ilaqai Nasal. I really like them. I have another 15 p1 seeds to go thru next and then I’ll take my keepers from both rounds and grow them separately several rounds before combining them once inbred a bit more. Delicious scents that transfer to the taste.

Here’s 3 keeper male tops. Huge ball sacs

Here’s a few ready to open.! @Tejas ( zoom in) 20230917_105331|375x500
See how the circled male flowers looks kind of like a watermelon? Striped? Green plants will have green pods with white stripes. When you see a calyx starting to lighten up along the seams, looking a bit striped or a lighter green, it’s going to open soon.

There’s a couple more big ones getting ready to open right near the tip

One of my favorites pictured first, And the second photo is tiny tina…potentially the most potent plant going by looks alone.

This one and Tiny Tina are the last 2.
Buds on the others will be dry enough to sample this weekend. What I’ve tried so far is promising.

You have pollen ready to fall?

Not from Ilaqai. They are done. Just 2 plants left.

Still curing…but the flavor of the most recent sample was epic. It was the Peshawar pheno and it was Super tasty and I never smelled anything else like it. Orange incense is a close description, but there is more going on than that. Even my wife took a second sniff. Usually I have to push her to smell any weed. The potency was good, but is still increasing. :fire: the flavor matched the smell. Both changed dramatically over the last couple weeks.

Those plants/flowers look awesome. I can’t help but wonder how they’d do in a a high mountain desert environment at 35N. :grinning:
