I kind of agree with Minitiger about the print on the back.
I do really love the logo design, especially in red.
I would definitely wear this red one…
Beautiful work on the ECSD x (Chem Del La Chem F2) Beast Coast Sour Diesel, as always!
You did better than I usually do haha. I haven’t done a connoisseur trim on any flowers in longer than I can remember. I have flowers coming out of my ears, so I don’t have time for that haha.
Sounds like my kind of flowers!
I was just thinking back fondly about when you first inquired about testing my work. I am always happy to have you around my threads and my work in your beautiful garden! I truly appreciate you brother! Positive vibes…

I agree with @minitiger, I want one, but without the busy back.
I appreciate everyone’s feedback! Just to clarify, the print on the back is optional haha.
I can definitely understand how some people might not like and/or be able to wear a shirt with the FUCK word on it haha.
I have several shirts with the motto on the back, several without and even one or two that say, “HE WHO MAKES THE PLANTS FUCK” on the back because I am not too fond of how bastardized the term breeder is these days and I prefer to refer to myself as a seed maker or… you guessed it “He who makes the plants fuck” hahaha. Positive vibes…

My question is what is the biggest size you can get? I would rock the black T-shirt of even a hoodie but I’m a big dude and I try to stay out of half shirts lol he who makes the plants fuck lol
That’s confidential haha. I Grow Ill Eagle.
Awesome! I am stoked that they landed! I appreciate you! Positive vibes…

A ton of orders have included XXL on the 2-3 preorders that I have ran for t-shirts. If you don’t mind me asking, how large are you needing?
I hadn’t even thought of a hoodie, but that would be dope. I want one now haha.
No crop tops? Haha.
My homie came to me years ago and was like, “you are a passionate breeder” or something like that and I was like, “eh out of respect to the breeders that I looked up to ~20+ years ago, I prefer seed maker or he who makes the plants fuck” haha. And it just kind of always stuck in my mind. Positive vibes…

My Humor,
How much would it be? ( large)
To all testers, please remember to always post the parentage and the name of the hybrid in each post. E.g.:
Triangle Kush x (Cherry West Bc) Cherry TK
I want it to be incredibly easy for anyone who is utilizing the search function to find information on my hybrids. Thank you! Positive vibes…

Ill Eagle Birdseed’s
Dogwalker Del La Chem - (Dog Walker OG X (Chem Del La Chem F2))
Germination date 6-14-24
Days Vegging : 40
Days Flowering : 19
Total Days : 59
Light Schedule : 10.5/13.5
It’s been another week of healthy growth. All plants are starting to pack on flowers. A few have almost tripled in height, these will most likely lean to the Chem Del La Chem Nugzz tells me. The plants with the curly tops carry the same terp profile. They smell of brown sugar and dank, wet crawl space. The Dogwalker leaners haven’t developed their sent profiles yet. The Chem leaners have started developing an aroma much earlier than most anything I’ve grown before. Sounds promising.
#2 Is the tallest at 4 feet.
#3 has the worst case of the curlies. Although it grows out of it after a couple of node. It really is very unique. All the plants that exhibit this trait also poses that brown sugar/dank crawl space terp profile.
#4 Is a short, fat little Dogwalker leaner.
#5 Lightly exhibits the curly trait.
#8 Another shorty
#9 Is another tall girl just shy of 4 feet. This one smells the loudest of the sweet brown sugar/dank crawl space. Great structure.
#10 Is displaying some intersex traits. Whenever I grow a Chem cross though, I kindof ecpect it. This particular plant has always been what I call a complainer. I could tell that it was never truly happy in my environment. I really got the imprssion that it wanted to be grown outdoors. I had a hunch that this one was gonig to be the one to show intersex traits, so I’ve been watching it. This line has so far has performed excellent indoors, but I feel that this one would really shine outdoors. And I think that would cure the intersex traits in the “complainers”.
That one actually looks like a slightly more “normal”-looking version of that wacky #3 plant, at least as far as the way the flowers are coming in is concerned. That #3 plant is pretty crazy.
Yeah, that’s pretty insane for it being only day 19, sucks about the nanners. Are you gonna keep that one around? Pretty ballsy (no pun intended) of you if you do haha.
Yeah, that #3 is bat shit crazy. It’s even crazier how they grow out of it and are completely normal 2 nodes down.
No, that, #10 is already gone. Just kept it around long enough to document. I know a lot of people stress over a herm here and there, but it really doesn’t bother me. Although I’m sure Nugzz ain’t gonna like it too much. I keep a pretty close eye on my plants. Certain lines like Chems, and a few others, are just prone to have them sometimes.
I noticed that when I started running the 10.5/13.5 light cycle, plants that were prone to intersex would do it sooner rather then later in flower. Making it much easier to spot them. It also seems to magnify phenotypic expressions in some plants.
The curly plants really do have a magnificent smell already. They are taking on a strong aroma much earlier than most in my experience.
Yeah, in the profile of DJ Short on the old Grantland site, he mentioned that starting plants on 11/13 would do exactly that. I haven’t tried it (and definitely not 10.5/13.5 haha) yet, usually start decreasing veg lighting to 15/9 two weeks before flower, 14/10 one week before and then 11.5 or 11:45 once I flip and decrease by five minutes a week starting around week four or five. Maybe I’ll try 11/13 right away for the next grow. It just seems like such an abrupt change and I like to try to keep things as “natural” as possible haha.
If you (or anybody) are interested, here’s that Grantland article: » The Willy Wonka of Pot
It’s a really good read. I’ve never grown any of his stuff (smoked plenty of it), but he’s absolutely my favorite “cannabis writer.” I’ve read his old article “Strains of Yesteryear” at least 500 times.
Here’s that one, too, if anybody wants to read it (sorry, stank, but this is what you get when I start getting heavily involved haha): https://www.thcfarmer.com/threads/strains-of-yesteryear-by-dj-short.76/
Anyway… Plants look good, Bill haha!
Thanks Minitiger, I will def read those articles. I read all the related material I can.
Years ago I used to gradually reduce the light hours, I don’t know exactly why I stopped doing that. Maybe I’ll reintroduce that and see what happens.
I appreciate the compliment on the plants.
Going over my notes, I found that in March 2015 I stopped gradually reducing light hours so the “stress of the sudden change would force any intersex traits to show earlier”.
Later that year I started playing with reduced light hours and settled on 10.5/13/5 for the same reasons, to flush out intersex traits sooner.
I guess that’s working out pretty well. Lol!
Haha. I mean, it definitely makes sense. Or it does to me, anyway.
Do you find that 10.5/13.5 makes them finish any faster?
