What??? They sell and charge rec for MO med patients?? What a humiliation for this state. That is just wretched. Our med prices are already predatory for patients and now such awful shortages. If an Illinois patient wants any hope of selection, they can order off of the rec menu, at rec prices and taxes.
It’s just shameful, inviting MO med patients in to buy for the novelty of purchasing legal cannabis. Oh, boy. I have really been getting a bad attitude about Illinois and its medical cannabis rules, pricing and availability.
I have to check into Illinoisans buying guns in Missouri.That has to be a better deal, in some way.

Yeah the first week they did it they had one edible available lol meanwhile I can go choose from 6+ flowers and atleast 2 waxes for at the most 10 a gram for flower and 40 for wax good ole black market getting me high since the 90s

That IS much better than the dispensary menu for medical has been, for variety of product selections and price.

Haven’t stepped foot in a dispensary and honestly don’t plan on it. I don’t have many choices as to what flower I get but I’d much rather pay 30 an eighth sometimes a quarter and still smoke good smoke. Now that my closet is up and running I doubt I’ll be buying much longer. Cheaper to pay the power bill… just seeing on the news how long the line was wrapped around Collinsville in the first weeks of legalization and reading that they are running a shuttle from other parking lots was enough to turn me off of wanting to go until there are more places open and no ridiculous wait time and if the menu is super limited for rec what’s the point. Not everyone I know has the same strain so there are choices.

If you pay attention to the menu of flower most of the exact same strains are available on the black market at the same time that’s no coincidence lol

If only most of who I know actually knew what they have. All I ever get told is that it will meet my requirements but never a name. Like the last awesome quarter I got, it had such a psychedelic almost head high I will call it unknown #1 when I grow the few beans that were in it out.
As to the carts I’ve tried em before but within 10 minutes I smoked a bowl because I need something that only flower or good dry sift can give

Been there done that lol. Edibles are for when I need major pain relief otherwise flower for myself. Never did like the dabs and other concentrates much at all. I call it weed crack rings your bell first hit then your chasing it the rest of the day.

I had a lawyer specializing in marijuana law in Colorado tell me if i was on a federal game reserve and had a bullet in my pocket i could go to jail for up to 10 years. I also know a individual that was growing (a lot) get into a domestic situation with a neighbor and the cops told him chop the plants or give a relative your guns. He called his brother and guns were removed. Cops left him alone after that.

I’m in the same boat! I want to start growing but I can’t find reputable seeds anywhere! Is there a place in Illinois that sells seeds or clones?

Not really, because it’s illegal to grow unless you are a medical patient and even then you get 5 plants, period (which is more than enough for one person, honestly) but in terms of buying clones or seeds within Illinois, you are better able to get in on some contests and giveaways here or check out some of the reputable sponsors and seed banks that post around the site who are all very knowledgeable and ship many different genetics world wide in this thread
