In the basement with Loggershands

Thanks for the link, I believe @MoBilly is using those linked buckets right now.

I wonder if you could rig up a float system, Add a valve to close when the float triggers full in the SIP res. and hook up a fill line from larger res.

Also add separate valve to control flow after SIP reservoirs are full to not have it constantly opening closing whenever the plant drinks. Creates a stop gap from flooding the tent.

Yes. I have ten of them going right now. They work very well. The plants seem to do better when you allow them to be very low on water for a couple of days between filling the res back to max. I guess they just don’t like to have that much water constantly.
I said that to say this; I don’t think a float system would work for any long period of time. Maybe for some strains but not for all.
Something like a Frankenstein would thrive because she loves the water. But the Cookies cross I ran year before last would have hated it. If I didn’t let her dry out between watering she went all droopy and clawed.

It would, however, be a great addition to the system if you might be called away for a week out of state. I can be called to Fla at any time and the grow be damned, if you understand. This would be something that would keep them in decent shape even if I were to be gone a week. Longer if I could get some feed to them somehow. A 50 gal tank and a gravity fed system comes to mind.

Just something to consider.
Good luck with them. Like I said, they work great, I just have to let them sit with minimal water for a day before filling them.

A float valve to a waterline was definitely on the list when looking at the SIPs. I was going to route a waterline to the room and attach it to something like this https://www.amazon.ca/Correct-decision-All-Stainless-Humidifier/dp/B07GS1VK81/ref=asc_df_B07GS1VK81/?tag=googlemobshop-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=579251395854&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=5190925893778439685&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9000022&hvtargid=pla-590852665864&psc=1&mcid=596111c84a96330b80b037e7f8d59cc1

Never did get around to it :joy:

Good morning @MG_Canna :coffee:

I’ve been really happy with the JT x HB. She is looking awesome right now. This strain would be great for a big hunt to find a keeper.

I saved about 100 beans to hunt through. Hellbilly breeder had some extras and sent me 15 seeds to look through. I will be picking the best female to reverse and hit the Jet Fuel. Also going to bx the Jet Fuel to Billy Breathes. So much work and not enough room.

Holy crap @Loggershands , you’ve got the Noah’s Ark of Herb going on! 2 or 6 of everything! Right on man, start lots so you can find and finish the strong ones. Best of luck with this jaunt!

Lots going on but it’s only because I’ve been really fortunate with the people I’ve meet along the way here. I come across these beans and they all deserve a run :grinning:

These girls were flipped early and had a rough start so they never really lived up to their full potential but I’m still getting some nice representations of the genetics.

@pharmerfil - 6/6 punchline were girls. I kept 5 for space reasons.

@DannyTerpintine - 5/6 BK x LO/MM were boys. It was a shame as they were my favourites in veg but that’s the way it goes. This girl had a hard early life and way flipped early but I’ll get some new smoke to try out.

@Ottafish - these are the (Nanna glue x sugar belts) x Goji OG I made last year. I’ve only got 6 of these seeds but based on these two, they look like they have potential.

@Pigeonman 3/3 of the peanut butter balls were boys so they never made it far into flower.

I don’t think you can go wrong there. I bought Goji OG but never grew it. I know it was one if not his best strain. Are you going to make more seeds? What was the Goji OG profile? Would you grow it again?
