Indoor mainlining

Oh, I’m a bit selfish, with the excuse here it’s illegal to grow I have no grow diary, but have already two Bubba Hashplant fem swimming so I will keep you informed of my progress …

Papalag’s idea is great, firstly I thought it was insane letting grow a plant to later on cut it spy2|nullxnull, but then I realized the benefits behind and I’m willing to try it, do have a look … beer3|nullxnull

Hi, everybody. I’m sorry I haven’t been here for a while, but I didn’t know where to jump sooner. Here’s Durban…I’m starting to toy with the idea of switching them to 12/12 in two to three days. What do you think?

And here’s the green Poison F1 fast Version. They grow slowly…I have to leave them for a long time.

Looking great, I would leave them more days :yum:, you have a lot of height margin … beer3|nullxnull

I’m with @George, I’d give them another week, maybe two to fill out a bit again before switching light schedule

Everyone looking good though, nice job

Don’t rush to flip them they can go a few weeks longer
Let the trunk get bigger to support the buds

@George you’ll love the finish product

Good luck

My plants are roughly 10"-12" and 5 week old
Maybe 8 nodes.

Mainline usually done very early on isn’t it?

I just decided to bend over the top around 3" from the top tucked all the leaves and exposed the lower branches.

I fimmed one at the top.not sure how that will come out…

However - could I technically top down to first node and start mainline from there? Or would.the root system be too stressed?

I normally let it grow till 7 nodes and then top at the 3 rd this way the plant can support the weight

I couldnt do it …
I fimmed one and bent it.

Defol all of them. I was tucking but said screw it.

And I topped to a lower node that already Two growth tips emerging .

They should still take over the dominant growth at those tips.right? First two are same. Second is the fimmed and defol an bent

How do these look for 5 weeks? Sprout aug1…

It looks like if I top too high there .I’m gonna have some top heavy issues… That’s why I’d go lower hey

I just couldn’t see any viable GRowth tips at lower node intersection
… As
I think I’ll be keeping these two as mother’s as they will be ready for flowertent LONG before a spot opens up…so I can continue to experiment and chop and top lol. And practice my topping and lst skills

Let them go and use your grow space height to maximize your yield.

@Calix you can start your main from any of those lower branches I would have cut 3rd node

So on second photo. . Third branch intersection. I cut just up from intersection?

There is tiny little.growth tips.
I’ve gotten stumps before :frowning:

I’m. Nor really going for mainlining . Just figured I could get some good advice. Who know I may tie them down from here and go for some form of mainline.

They are very flexible right now.

Consider a scrog net it will help a lot

I do have a trellis net .
I’m not sure what to do atm, this is hopefully going to remain a veg tent if I can
Pull everything off the way I want.
It’s going to be a experimental /learning veg tent.

I will practice multiple techniques on various clones /varieties of cannabis.

Hopefully I can find the right variety that endures my experiments l and take clones along the way.

@Jasper , I definitly am considering allowing the plant to grow within it’s environment. . .and doing some bending and training along the way., thank you!

I have done mostly LST and some toppiing, but I’d love to just let the plant grow with no interference other than tucking and defoliating,
That’s pretty Much where these veg plants were up until last night, I bent both and fimmed one and now topped another and defoliated both.

I know this is a manifold/mainline thread. But I’ve so many questions about the techniques and how to implement them.

I know with a trellis I could tie them down and allow the secondary branches to grow up through them and keep bendin them through the net to produce more tops .

Just remove all downwards branches

Lol I will nod and pretend I understand lol
I will eventually go ‘“ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh that’s what he meant!!”

When you lay the branches down on the net or screen you will see some branches are pointing up towards the lights and some pointing downwards those be it lol :joy: I was the same way when I first started
Best wishes

Hey, I’m glad the debate’s kicking off a little bit. And I’m here with my regular update. Tomorrow I’ll switch the four big ones to 12/12 and put the two mebs in the next booth. Another week at 18/6. What do you think?
