High everyone, I’m Dogz_Daze. I’ve had a very close relationship with this plant since I was very young. seen a lotta crazy shit very young and I was sent to live with my hippie grandma in Montana at 13. that was 11 years ago. I moved in just in time for they’re first crop, and I was instantly in love. over time, from talking with caregivers from the Missoula area I was deeply inspired and I knew this would be my path. i took that knowledge back to SLC Utah and all I got was a drug addiction and a bunch of warrants for cannabis. took awhile to find my way back to the plant, with the help of some sacred cactus, and a lot of repetitive LSD dosing, I got cleaned up and found my way the fuck out of Utah. Now I’m finally back to growing. I’m proud to be a 3rd generation indoor grower, studying living soil and natural, regenerative farming practices. I’m almost 24, I bought a house, all I do is grow. I’m gonna fill every fuckin room in this bitch till I’m knocking down walls.
Currently growing: Spirit Train f2… (GG4 x Chem D I95) x MAC… Super Silver Sour Diesel Haze f2… Lucky Charms f2… Blue City Diesel x Granddaddy Purp… Norcal Afgoo x Space Cheese… GMO x Space Cheese… Stardawg x Space Cheese… Black Wop Fruit x Space Cheese…
glad to be here, I seek knowledge and some people to share some cool finds with. I have an amazing sweet chocolate pheno of Spirit Train f2 that people would love, and id love to give away.

Hey all, my name’s Tystick. Long time smoker, holy hell has everything been updated and improved upon. There are sooo many new strains, techniques, lights, methods, etc! I’ve spent at least 40 hours this week alone just researching top strains, breeders, banks, reminds me of looking through a high times back in the day. Found OG through microgrowery, there is a wealth of info there and it seems like Edit, ( Way more here) as well, so I’m happy to be here, and looking forward to the new year!

I should probably introduce myself as I’ve been lurking for a while now and warmly welcomed by a few already.

Canadian, born and raised on the northern BC coast, headed to the south coast for a few years and now have been a little further east for the last 12 years.

Been interested in cannabis since my early highschool years, was a part of the cannabis culture forums in the late 90s early 00s. My first grow was bag seed I got while in the lower mainland, Catpiss and Hashplant, grown back home up north. Outdoor with whatever soil I had, Miracle grow and garbage bags for light dep. My father was pissed…pissed that they turned out so well! Said had he known I could do it, we would have grown in the basement. So I gave it back to him…if I had known we could do that!!

Fast forward to now, I just run a 5x5 tent once or twice a year. I’ve worked industry since being where I am now but it’s all out of town work. There’s another reason that prevents me from running it perpetually but I hope in the next couple years to find myself in a better situation that allows me to do as I please all the time. Over the years I’ve made tweaks to make my tent as Automated as I can in a simplistic way so that when I am away, my partner just has to fill the reservoir. We learned the hard way that I can’t leave anything more for her, and that’s fair.

My current setup consists of a 5x5 as said, I run a 400w mars qb in conjunction with a 600w hps and 3 55w autocobs to fill the corners. I have a 4th autocob I use in a closet for my males. All organic recycled soil watered via blumats with a big garbage can as a res. Couple airstones to keep the water from being stagnant. Inkbird controller running humidifier in the early stages, and running the exhaust in the later stages. I have my own worm bin so that I can make a few ewc teas throughout. But for the most part it’s ro water only.

I’ve collected a decent stash of seeds over the years, used to be mainly fems but I buy mostly regs these days to give me options for pollen chucking. My first nld attempt went sideways, produced alot of seeds and that was what started me purposely making my own. I still try to work through what I’ve purchased so alot of the seeds I make I give away to friends, just keeping enough for me to look through when I can. I have popped a few of my creations with good results.

Also I am an acmpr with a decent sized allotment, more than I can do currently but I figured it was better to have the option than to break the rules.

My current run is a bit of an unplanned mess. I had more males than normal and alot took longer than usual to show, so that left me with only 5 for sure females. I try to do 8 plants in 5/7gal pots so I had quite a bit of extra space. That turned into me popping more seeds way late, and not all at once…another one every couple days as I got the itch…popping seeds is just so much fun. So currently I have 5 big girls, 2x Congo Creek Haze from white buffalo, 2x MacxFPOG by Sacredcut and 1 black candyland from joti. The later pops, all in 3 gal, are 1x ghost train haze from rare dankness, 1x girl Scout crack from seedsman, 1x Destroyer (x zamal possibly…came from the nld disaster), 1x Critical from rqs, 1x somango fem done by a buddy of mine from somas somango, 1x LA Chocolat x catpiss (possibly fem, I had reversed a catpiss but im not sure if it was successful pollen or stray pollen) and then most recently popped 2 Black gdp haze by joti and put them both in a 7gal. Quite a mess.
All the late pops are basically straight from 12/12 except for the gth as she was started a few weeks ago. I flipped the tent to flower on Friday.

I collected pollen from a black candyland so far this run, I have a Congo Creek haze pumping out balls for a few weeks now that I’m patiently waiting on and have a Sweet Skunk x Haze (Peak) x Mountain Temple (bodhi) that if flowering now as well. I’ve got a small collection of pollen in the freezer but some of it is beginning to be non viable after using it a few times now.

Basically every run I select a couple males, make some f2s, and pollinate a few branches of everything else with all the new pollen and old pollen so im constantly coming out with new stuff to throw in the vault. I’d love to one day have my own seed thing on the side but that is many years into the future and will be a labor of love rather than a profitable enterprise. In the meantime hopefully I’ll be able to share some of my pollen chucks with the community cause I won’t be able to pop them all but I’d love to see what they produce!

Edit: I’m still trying to figure this place out, im used to the old style forums where I’d go to the sections I like the most but I’m having a hard time getting used to the way OG works and following anything lol.

I’ve got a small collection of autos too and some I made but I just use those on the deck in the summer, I feel like indoor they’re not going to hit their potential under 12/12 so I never bothered. I have a bunch of fast buds that for the most part have been utter junk to be honest. Had better luck with seedsman freebies and some next generation stuff. In fact I found seedsmans Auto Lemon was a great plant. Very lemony, nice chunky buds.
This is the first time I’ve done late pops that will be 12/12 all the way so I’m interested to see how they do.

Hi OG, I’m Phil just recently joined from OK. I started out growing almost 10 years ago and what started as way to just get good weed has turned into a obsession. When I started growing I kept it a secret from everyone for fear of getting caught. My girlfriend even thought I had a mysterious roommate she had never met who always kept his door locked, haha. She just thought I had an unlimited weed supply, and my friends must of thought I was insane because I would always give away my surplus. Back then I used to just run autos in dwc.

Fast forward a few years, its legal here and now I can grow 12 plants medically for my gf and I. Currently I’m trying some coco hempy buckets and some coco with high frequency fertigation. I also still play with hydro and am planing a living soil outdoor grow for this year. I’m also starting make my own seeds so I’m sure I will be able to learn a lot here.

I’m excited to join a what seems like a really cool community of growers. Most other forums seem
like they’re full of jerks and trolls, and that’s not what I’m about.

And my growing philosophy currently is: “Any run is a success if you know clearly where you can improve next time.”
