Hey Everyone.
Finally decided to join up here with the intent of documenting some things for others to see. I was encouraged by a few folks to catch up and get on here.
I spent some time on UK420, but backed away from there sort of slowly/unintentionally. It just didn’t really do much for me anymore. I’ve landed more in the territory of “older genetics” (at least for the time being) and that’s not really the theme over there, currently.
Anyhow, the current mission/focus is looking through older lines that have a good chance of being truly inbred, or at least stable in the sense of worked filial generations.
Those Lines I’m looking through will become future True F1 Hybrid parent material.
Looking at broadleaf males at the moment to pair up with a really nice Michoacan female that’s old and clean.
Anyhow, that’s an introduction for now.

Greetings friends. I would like to introduce myself. A good brother of mine once dubbed me the Green Albatross and I thought that’d be a fitting handle for OG.
My parents were into the herbs and I grew up with it all around me. One of my dad’s had an indoor setup back in the 80’s and the other dad grew outside. I grew my first plant in the back of a guitar speaker cabinet.
In the late 90’s I stumbled on growing forums like the og OG, internationalcannagraphic and rollitup. Been a nerd on the subject ever since. I studied engineering and music in school. In my early 30’s I picked up the Arborist trade. Tree and plant science is still a hobby and interest of mine.
Back in the day I loved cultivating in coco coir using the Rez 6/9 formula. That was pretty simple and I loved the results. I had some large rooms in the midwest. Humidity was a challenge back then. Now I am in the desert and I need to get some of that humidty in my grow haha. Now I play in 2x2 tents with no till and the Coots mix. Dabble with KNF and organic inputs.
My love for canna is geared towards the blueberry. Specifically the blueberry sativa expressions found in DJ Short lineages. I have lots of experience with Chimeras offerings. Mental Floss was awesome and I’ve grown many packs of his schnazzleberry #2. The latter is the shit and I’d love to grow that again and make some proper seeds to keep her around the rest of my life. Grown a few packs of DJ’s f13.
I love tropical sativas. On a more recent trip to Asia I tried lots of real thai and jungle sativas. Those are simply amazing and the western world needs more of these. Always on the look out for genetics that will grow well inside but have that real sativa effect.
Indica wise I love the schnazzleberry from chimera and will get her again… but I have been obsessed with the og Bubba Kush. Read lots of opinions and ideas of that cultivar. Obviously consumed lots and lots of her back in the day. Grown some s1’s from mendo 2020 and had zero luck with that breeder. I even had a pre98 cut many moons ago. But yeah I am on the hunt for the p98 or her in seed form.
Recently made my first batch of seeds. Chimeras Highland Mexican X Blueberry. She is a banger and I love her enough to run two tents worth of her and let her seed.
I would love to make new friends and maybe even trade (or donate) some seeds. I have been trying for awhile to get around to sorting out a profile for OG and join the fun. I see lots and lots of kind humans celebrating the plant. I have connected with so many people around the world online and in person due to this plant and hope to continue this adventure.
