I had friends who ran BBSes but they did go out not long after. Delphi was my first ISP (met my wife on there), pay by the hour. I remember that 14.4K modem I got at the computer fair for $75.
I have actually shared clones with one guy from Chicopee, MA and another guy from Maine who was passing through. Traded flower in Oxford, MA. I made a friend when I sold my 5x5 locally. I just don’t have friends who I see or share cannabis with on a regular basis.
Now that I’ve written it out, this hobby has been a lot of fun and allowed me to meet a lot of nice people. Happy to be here.
Yeah, this is an awesome hobby. I used to grow chiles and tomatoes in square foot gardens so I could grow as many different strains as possible and made a lot of unique, awesome salsa. Then I moved to the mountains and discovered I needed a greenhouse for the hobby and pretty much dropped it.
But for the last three years I’ve been enjoying growing cannabis even more! -and am considering doing my old hobby under lights too.
Probably should have done this long time ago…new member on OG, not new to growing though. @BIGJ brought me over. Some on here know me as MrMonkey420 on other forums.
I have been in love with cannabis since 2008, so I missed the original OG era. I’m growing for ± a decade.
I’m 32, grew up in Belgium, moved to Australia (have Aussie relatives), moved back to Belgium and am now in the process of going back down under, to settle down. I don’t have anything growing at the moment. When the big move is behind me I will again though, looking forward to that moment!!!
My last serious indoor grow was Lemon Tree from Barney’s Farm under LED…
Nice and welcome! I’m also from Minnesota. It’s great that we can grow legally in the state now. I want to help grow the culture and awareness here. Good luck on your grows. Your plants are looking great! Let me know if you have questions.
Welcome brother @Ethereal
Good luck on the journeys!
Fun fact: I used to own a food truck called Frites Street, serving various sauces and entrée on a bed of Belgian-style pommes frites!
