Thanks bud. I was a bit concerned to find pools of water in the bottom of the tray but it dis not seem to cause any issues so life is good.
At least you know that humidifier can get the humidity up to wherever you’d like it. Haha Glad nothing catastrophic happened because of it.
Well I am home after a long day at work and I had to poke my head in the tent. All 15 of these little seedlings are now showing some green. Soon it will be time to mix their first bit of food using Jacks nutrients. This should be interesting.
So Douglas, reg seeds, fems? Plan is how many ladies??? @DougDawson
No seeds this time! A few on flower run! Well my reading comprehension was off on this!
These are all Regs @Jetdro. I made the Blue Kush and PPP seeds. The Pancakz was a group buy for an F2 run since the pack was $400. I figured I keep seeing folks growing the PPP and Blue Kush, might as well try them myself, lol. As for how many ladies, I suppose whatever will be, will be. I need to kill at least 2 of them though. My plant count is 25 and these put me at 27. I figured at least a couple wouldn’t germ but that was just not how it ended up. Out of the last 28 seeds I dropped, 27 decided to grow. Go figure. Feels good though after the BMR shit germ rates.
Hey there OG. So just checking out the seedlings and the couple I had to dig out have sprung to life so there is not really a bad looking seedling in the bunch. 5 seeds from 3 different strains each and we got 100% germination. Who could have asked for anything more. Here they are as of right now. Have a great evening OG.
I keep seeing you guys using the “coffee filter” looking dodahs. I assume they’re some kind of fabric, or tissue? My tiny brain is working too hard.
Yeah looks like a tea bag, doesn’t it?
They are seedling starter bags. I just love them and use them exclusively now. I did a side by side with half in solo cups and half in these seedling bags. The ones in the seedling bags all grew faster and larger than the ones in the cups. They also make transplanting a breeze since you plant them with the bag still on. Roots grow right through them with no problems at all.
They kind of are @Indicana_Jones.
Awesome. Thanks for the info @DougDawson. Might help me from killing so many lately.
I liked the experience with the seedling bags here too!!!
No stress on transplants…
Pretty much everything you do is an Overgrow Event Doug, and this grow is no exception.
It’s a pleasure to watch you do a grow just for your own pleasure and satisfaction!
Total @DougDawson FanBoy here,
-Grouchy
What size are ure seedling bags, u put them in solo cups also?
I believe it has similar measurements to @DougDawson …
Something around 4x9cm!!!
As the base is small you need to accommodate them somehow.
Cups are a good and cheap way to accommodate them, you can also put them all together and tie them with a string…
Just a quick update, seedlings are going strong. I saw a few with roots popping out of the bottom. Will have to up pot all of them this weekend.
do you know those little bags look cool I might have to try those but doesn’t it kind of defeats the purpose when you put it inside the Dixie cup I guess it’s not tied against it there’s an air gap I guess you do it because the bag won’t stand up on its own.
that’s nice 100% germ right you know I just did the same thing but I threw down 50 seeds basically five of 10 strains I think I have seven that didn’t pop and I was happy with that because somewhere extremely old one set over 20 years congrats on 100%. you go from the BMR shit right to that I know that feels good.
Tell me of this $400 pack of seeds.
I’m glad I finally got in on one of your runs from the beginning
Yes, @DougDawson … what are the type of seeds that cost 400 bigones, very intrigued
must be some type or rare seeds that arent just fire there Atomic…

I think it’s from Aficionado.
@DougDawson must be something like these
