Hi , just wanted to thank jaws for a really easy and stress free grow . I’m growing a few choc med plants . These are on day 50 and have been grown in ocean forest with roots organic nutrients. There also in 5 gallon grow bags under a led light .
Nothing fancy just a basement grow , with lights and a fan . So far the smell on the one in the picture is kinda a sweet peppery smell .
I haven’t seen much on these and just wanted to show what they are capable of , in less than perfect conditions. Thanks jaws and everyone checking this out , it’s appreciated

I also wanted to add that there are visible tri chomes on the stems and some of the smaller leaves , but I don’t have a proper camera , just my phone .

How long do you typically veg for before flip?

that’s a tough Question for me, i usually do not even think im in veg until i have them in the tent’s. before that they could spend a month or more in cups and in the closet area. once there in the tent’s i shoot for 4 weeks, ahh how ever that’s not always the case. i grow in different types of containers as well as different kinds of strain ALWAYS so my flip time changes from grow to grow. i do shoot for 4 weeks though on the regular.

No problem brotha, I wanted to get a ballpark figure to see if I can get a nice even canopy like the one you had growing which has great plant structure, All lower branches grew up near the main.

hahaha ya my canopy is very very ever level, growing the way i do over here steps need to be taken to keep things on par. upper looks awesome but the underside looks insane with boosters all over the place trying my best to keep things level. just look at my overall pics of both tents, all the taller plants get lined along the back and both sides with all other put here-n-there through the middle.
works for me though …

I try do the same thing with the tall along the corners or walls. I really haven’t had an even canopy yet and I probably won’t have one in this coming run as well haha. Since it’s my first run of each, I’m in the unknown zone when they get flipped.
I expect to have to raise some and super crop others. All in all it makes the exploration more exciting.

ya there is that too brother, the style of your grow. meaning un-topped – natural – multi topped all those styles will have impack on your canopy.
something you need to watch take notes and learn as you continue onward …

true but it need to take place at the correct time and one has to know what there doing when trying that. using a net to keep things in check is the easiest way, trying to free hand a totally even canopy can be a pita. not even sure if i could do that.

I have started cherry chocolate meds! I plan on doing what I always do - bamboo sticks and wire to stretch them out after topping one time.
I agree, the net is niiiice but it’s just not for me. I open them all up and boost them up and down from underneath using salad bowls and such, trying to get them level. If you have a light meter, it’s a good exercise to raise it up and down and see how much it drops off as you lower it, at least it was for me. You did a great job on that plant!!

@OG619 grinding up some Chem 4 x Lemon Larry for the missus. This isn’t picked for a photo, just dumped out of the jar after 6 weeks. Don’t know what bag appeal is, don’t use many.

@OG619 had a pack and I was sharing some info. After 6 weeks it’s still “daytime weed”, but with a nap attached. It gets me real stoned, solid 3 hours before any fade.

Thanks brotha I appreciate it. I’ve yet to sample Chem4 but I remember really enjoying the Lemon Larry. Bag appeal don’t mean much to me these days as I keep the flowers for myself/friends /family, it’s all about the flavor and mostly the high for me.
