You will get it, just practice like everything else, once you seen milky trichs a couple of dozen times you will create a mental picture library, they will keep changing after the chop as well, so should be good after a few weeks in a jar.

Question. Do you try to plan on your soil being dryer come harvest time or do you not even pay attention. It was something i read to try and harvest with your soil on the drier side because your buds won’t be as moist

I try to remember to let them dry out a bit, if I know when I am about to chop, sometimes I am on auto pilot, and don’t remember, but I cant let the pots dry out too much as it affects the bacteria and worms, and the next plants going in the pot need a good start with the bacteria.

The reason behind that is so that the plant isn’t full of water right? Well ppl having issues with drying too fast wouldn’t this be better?
Also my last harvest i misjudged and gave like 2 gallons the day before chopping and her main stalk was dripping water after chopping kinda cool and creepy cool cuz she was still trying to drink water but creepy cuz it was like ya cut her head off and she’s still alive

Days are going by so slow week 10 day 1
Maybe chopping in the next few days i know I’ve said this so many times but i wanna do it at the right time but I’m seeing more random amber heads on buds not sugar leaves. I CANT WAIT TO MAKE ME SOME EDIBLES WITH THE TRIM and this time not fuck it up 
last time i made edibles i decarbed at top High of a temp my high excited ass was rushing through it didn’t read carefully
Edit : also something i noticed either I’m nose blind or my plant ain’t as stanky as she was 3 weeks ago

Nose blind, you get used to the smell, your brain switches of permanent smells, so you can concentrate on new ones, same as taste, hearing, basically anything repetitive that happens in life. Otherwise your senses get overloaded and stops you learning about new things.

Probably, I have the same problem I can hardly taste any flavour in the 5 strains I have been growing over the last couple of years, the ReikioX autos I grew this summer were fantastic for flavor and smell. people who smoke my weed all say how good it smells and tastes, but I get nothing taste wise, smells great in the jar though lol.
Now I came to a conclusion the other night, after smoking a joint of my my stuff the daughters BF had rolled, I thought it was some one elses weed as it tasted quite strong. He said no its yours, when I asked, and I was surprised, I virtually always smoke a pipe, rarely a joint, so I think the pipe kills the taste as its got all the other weed tastes in the bowl and stem.

It’s crazy how our brains do that lol i just rolled up my sample coulda been dried more for i got black ash not harsh the fam didn’t cough i didn’t cough I’m always the first to cough on some shit sisters first Smoke of the day she said she feels great!
I couldn’t tell myself i was more so looking for flavor and smell which when i broke it up smelled fruity tasted like burning joint lol and that’s where i weigh in my experience with taste.
Could just be me but 90% of the time I’m smokin a pipe so when i get new weed i can distinctly taste the new weed. When i smoke a joint it tastes like burning paper with weed.
Then when i get friends from Chicago it’s blunt city and I’m just like DONT YOU WANT TO TASTE THE WEED
Though i was once like them blunts on blunts on blunts

I’m currently going against everything i learned about drying and curing and seeing what happens no exhaust fan no circulation fans no humidifier i was hovering at 57% at 64F 12 13 hours later still 57% RH I’m probably going to throw on my exhaust for about 2 mins randomly on random days just to get some new air in there
I will not get mold i will not get mold i will not get mold (what i have to keep telling myself)
Here she is in here entirety hanging i thibk I’m going to get about an ounce a half maybe two but these buds are denser than any previous grow

It was a hard decision but after looking at trichomes for about 10 mins i said fuck it i saw random ambers so that’s what i was looking for cloudy with a chance of amber
10 weeks and 3 days she got chopped this was a long journey placed seed in towel on 420 happy 420 to me i get a cannakid lmao

They’ll be fine with no exhaust fan but I’d make sure to open the tent door once or twice a day just to allow some of the moisture to escape. Ya don’t wanna ruin your crop just because of airflow

That was the idea with throwin the exhaust fan on randomly but maybe i won’t cuz i will be checking humidity everyday In the morning and Probably at night
