Jaybeezy’s garden

I’m just now registering what you’re saying lmao I’m not gna bake my soil :rofl: but i mean if i was that desperate i guess I’d try anything

But bury as in use it with the garden outside? Won’t that infect the berries! I think we got strawberries and raspberries. Then again mites are outside anyway right? Please elaborate before my brain short circuits bahaha

Took me a f*cking grip to read through most of this but I love the work you’re putting in.

Notice any adverse affects from the Dr. Growth? Looks like an interesting amendment for people who don’t want to bother mixing the individual elements themselves.

Mites are outside but if you think you have mites and their eggs in your old soil I would not put it near anything you want to keep, just in case. Microwave will kill things faster than an oven.

That mycorrhizal and bacteria look good, to what did it cost?

That Recharge is good stuff. I use it occasionally in the no-till beds. It has my favorite, kelp!

nothing Bad with dr growth but i also don’t see much of a difference i just did the one watering with it I’m going to foliar starting tomorrow

For an 8 ounce bag it ran me 22? Not bad if you ask me only having to use a half a tsp for a gallon it should last me like 2 3 grows

Like, bury DEEP, as in 2ft+ & those mites won’t live.

Transplanted!

And watered recharge I’m excited to see this stuff work I’m planning on topping in a week or earlier if they don’t show signs of transplant shock

sorry it’s blurry but i thibk them are the best roots that have come out of my garden

12 hours after transplant top left plant the one with the roots i took a picture of is looking like it’s suffering the most looks super under watered but when i feel the plant it’s not limp and papery

Transplant shock of course but why aren’t the others suffering as much? Not sure But i gave them all about the same amount of water

In about a week I’m going to take a slurry test and see where my soil numbers are at not cuz i suspect a problem but to know where I’m at and if i need to make any adjustments

And my troubles lay here i turned on my exhaust fan and i ended up turning it off because with it on humidity is 30s and they look so sad lol but also my soil dries up super fast but i want to keep a good moisture content for my microbes to flourish. If i keep my soil moist then they’re all sad and droopy from overwatering i tend to water once i see the top layer of soil is dry.

But 36 hours since transplant

Top left still sad. Expected. Top right got some hooking nitro tox? Possible from dr growth i used half a tablespoon. I am not foliar feeding yet like i said because of this I’ll be checking soil numbers for the plant with minor hooking.

@ReikoX you have experience with recharge. Does it fix pH numbers like it says? Like if i take a slurry and my soil is too low or too High i can water this in and it will correct itself? Or I’d need corrective flushing/waterings.

I have never, once done a slurry test. In soil I rarely adjust the pH or even check it. The plant has the ability to change the pH of the rhizosphere. A proper soil also has minerals that help buffer the pH toward neutral.

Short answer, I don’t know.

Hahaha thanks i appreciate the honesty and that info.

Time to experiment I’m going to take my one plant with minor hooking and foliar spray bloom
Khaos first time using it as a foliar so I’m kinda scared lol

Update said fuck it i sprayed em all  i should have just done a plant of each pot (plastic and fabric) and see what happens

So far i noticed 1 thing i expected. Fabric pots are drying out faster. so last night i mixed up half a gallon of the early veg feed regime plus SLF and gave my fabric pots a full water and just 50ml to each plastic pot. And here they are today

i also added more soil to the fabric pots as usual because of watering and settling. I usually only add soil once or twice after a transplant with fabric pots because of this otherwise i squish the sides and loosen the soil up

Fabric pots are squishy until the plants roots fill them up, then they become more stable. Looking good man.

Try fluffing up the root ball a little with your fingers before transplanting it will help it settle in quicker

Right on I’ll give that a try next transplant @TheShowMeHomie

OR @Shadey…when your soil dries up completely and compacts

At least in my experience

Had a sad lookin underwatered plant last night does this mean all the microbes have died because the soil dried out completely?

This will be the first grow where I’m trying to establish and uphold a stable microbial colony.

Because i didn’t understand microbes and the important roll they have with plants and soil. I still don’t understand completely but i know they help break down nutrients need moisture to stay alive and only live about a week?

But 24 hours after my first foliar feed of bloom khaos I’ll post pictures after watering and stuff

they’re all pretty dark so easing up on the nitrogen for a week should be ok

Here’s the rest Im praying that the top middle is female look how happy she is

I also added aphrodites extraction for microbial food if there are any left

No, soil microbes will go dormant if it gets dry. They will come back when it is moist again

Going to be topping soon.

mind you most of these pictures are taken shortly after lights on

I’ll be taking slurry tests today to see where I’m at with nutrient reserves and ph tho I’m not seeing anything that would warrant a slurry test I’m going to take one so i know what path to take.

Feed like crazy, ease up, or keep on keeping on

Also when it comes to topping can one top at a node lower than the very top node?
