Johnnypotseed’s 3-ring circus - with autos, photos & sex…reversals, that is! (Part 1)

Ok, it’s been a few days since the last pics of these Autos I’m giving a go with. So, here’s another update with a few pics.
First up is the 2Pink Panama and 8 Snowryder at what is now day 51, still a good ways to go, but looking nice and healthy! Which is the main thing as far as I’m concerned! That 4th from the left Snowryder is a bit stretchy but hey, no biggie as long as it’s haelthy! :+1:

Next in line is the Cinderevil from @Mr.Sparkle. They’re starting to get thick, with a good bit of secondary growth coming in now…thinking it’s time to give these gals a bit of a trimming to open it up some. not much… just a few of the fan leaves starting to get in the way of secondary growth coming in lol

Then we have the Auto Xtreme from @Chronicklye, here also, they’re starting to get bushy and thickened up… time to do a bit of trimming as the same in this case, just a few of them fan leaves so as to not block the secondary growth.

Then the Sour60 courtesy of @cannabliss , looking nice and starting to put on the weight and getting bushier secondary growth. Coming along nicely, but no trim needed yet.

That’s all the pics i took this morning, didn’t get any of the AutoXtreme in the veg room, but they’re still very young and just barely peeping up over the edge of the pots.
So far, I’m pleased with this first attempt at auto growing, but as they say…‘the proof is in the puddin’, so we’ll see how it ends, I reckon lol
I’ll soon be dropping another batch into some EWC for germination… hey, gotta keep the momentum up here! after all, this is why I’m running Autos…

edit… DAMN THE TORPEDOES! Full Speed Ahead!!

Mornin’ Boss. Slept late this morning. Looks like the early bird gets the worm. Again. Haha. Nice work bruh.

On a side note, @Pigeonman … The ‘ceremonial tobacco’ seeds will be grown next spring and they will be much appreciated by a few tribal folks here in Oklahoma, since the last flood took a toll on their supply/crops. I’ve reached out to a few elders and they are very appreciative and said tell you many thanks!

edit… The smudge pots have been slack, due to the shortage, and with this they can be full again to do good smudges! ( along with the sweetgrass and white sage)

Thank you, @BigMike55 lol always a pleasure to have you along!

THIS OVERJOYS ME THIS DAY!!!

I will tell my friend whom gifted the plants to me where they are traveling. She’s gonna be overjoyed as well!

I’ve always been a firm believer in ‘pass it on, and share’…

this was too good to keep just for my own use! Especially since I was aware of the shortage…

Now if only I can get white sage to grow up here. I had some in pots but it didn’t take off. Only ways I’ve seen it flourish in the North is in a greenhouse.

Sweetgrass; no problem. I have it everywhere.
Mugwort: no problem. It’s decided to SURROUND THE HOUSE. *which is rad because mugwort wards of evil/negative energies. So , that and being surrounded by underground rivers (including the one UNDER my backyard); we have a lot of warding charms keeping Toronto at bay

Looks awesome lots of happy plants, as for the youngens your considering fan removals on for focus on secondary growth at least my experience with mine they will push past the fans once they get a bit older, may need a tucked fan leaf or two though that’s not for a bit still.

Would happen to chance the auto extremes may be similar.

As in I’d just leave them and see in a week or two how they are.

Ok, it’s early yet. So I’ll just leave em be and see how it goes, more fan leaves = more light getting absorbed and utilized. Thanks for the tip @Mr.Sparkle !!

lol I’m ‘hovering’ over these babies like an anxious parent! But hey, that’s part of the fun lol Was just a bit more nervous since I’ve read and heard so much about the ‘finicky nature’ of Autos. Even forewarned, I’ve still given a few a bit too much water… and I haven’t had a ‘damping off’ on seedlings in so damn long I can’t remember, lol but it’s been many years ago! To have that happen made me feel like a noob  :sunglasses: :+1:
Well, in a sense, I am a noob… but, the Autos are just another strain of marijuana in the end, and I got this I know!

edit… Since I had to adjust the watering schedule to more suit the suggested watering for Autos, is when the damping off occurred. I changed it back to my regular schedule of every other day and haven’t lost any more of them. Sooooo… nuff said lol

edit… I honestly don’t see any big deal in my doing the work here, lol My grampa worked the fields until he fell off the tractor with a heart attack at 92yrs old. I gotta long way to go yet… :sunglasses: :+1:

Good morning man, dropping by to say that I’ve been following your topic discreetly. Learning from your experience… This age thing is relative, because there are people with advanced age who do much more than young people with old minds… Keep on teaching those who want to learn… Hug and have a good day at work…
