@Greenfingers i think I read in another thread you have the same rules at work concerning holidays, the day before and after. Maybe it’s not that unusual as I thought.
Late or out the day before or after a holiday and one loses out on the holiday pay.

They weren’t as strict 15 years ago but we got a new guy in that position of authority and that shit went to his head. Now he’s moved up the ladder and we’re stuck with his rules. I’m a short timer now. I’m off this week, rolling doobies is my job this week.

It’s a rule to keep too many folks from making a 4 day weekend out of a 3 day weekend. I’m not one to be late or lay out so never had to deal with it yet.

Already put in a couple hours of work. Been up since five.
Yesterday I bought myself a new smoker/griller but it was 103° out there so I waited till this morning to assemble it. So now I get to break it in.
