Hello guys, whats your opinion for this lights?

There is a lot of hype about LED Lamps nowadays, kindled being one of the brands that get more attention. As well as California Lightworks and BlackDog Lights. A new provider like the Amare 450SE, which is a dual tech lamp, but they are very pricey and you will need to ship the lamp back if you ever run into any problems. Then you got the COB LEDs, which are really easy to replace and service on your own, they have a great warranty and more efective use of PAR units, look into it, you might want to get COBs instead of LEDs. Look into it bro.
Kind led is just like blackdog. Rebranded china leds that you can get for 100 bucks vs the 1000 they charge.
They look great but expensive IMO. At that price you could buy made in US or Europe-made professional horticulture LED"s from Fluence or P.L. Light Hortiled. Or Philips Greenpower if you have 240v access.
These three companies all provide PAR benchmarks for their lamps. Kind talks a big game but doesn’t offer any useable benchmarks, like total PAR or total PPF/J. Kind sells to closet and basement hobbyists, the 3 pros sell to huge commercial greenhouses, where stuff has to last for 5 or 10 years because it costs too much to replace it all.
All three brands I mentioned are passively cooled, light-bar style fixtures - no fans to make noise or break down over time. The PPF/J benchmarks? Fluence hits 2.2 umol/J, Philips 2.6, P.L Light Hortiled 2.7. Kind? We don’t know.
Thanks guys, you helping alot. I planning to create a grow room withn3x3 dimensions , so wich lamps will be the best? And how many lamps i need? Sorry for bad english, and silly questions im newbie at growing. Thank you again
You can easily build your own led light to fit your garden perfectly.
3’ x 3’ is ok for anything between 400 - 600w.
Tell us more, do you plan to use tent? Have you got enough vertical space? What type of space is it? Attic or basement? Wet or dry? Do you have access to fresh air?
ive never used blurples, idk anything about that company but ive seen horid thing on a forum i used to be pretty active at that showed typically mars lighting leds comming out the box that dont work, that and what they say the wattage is is typically overrated. For a fraction of that price you can build your own. For a 3x3 this would be a good setup and at full power would give you about 50000 lumens(same as a 400w HPS but runs at 90ish% efficiency so much less heat)
HLG-185H-C1400A 200w led power supply the C1400A model can be turned down to about 90w and the C1400B can be turned down to darn near nothing if you connect a potentiometer (mouser electronics is who i deal with in the USA $50ish)
4 Cree CXB-3590 36v cobs (3500k is excellent for both veg and flower $40 each)
4 heatsinks (rated for 50w at least about $10 each)
ideal solderless cob holders (optional but highly recommended $2 each)
round reflectors that mount right on the cob holders if you get them( optional about $4 each)
14ga or 16ga if you keep the wire short solid core copper wire
thermal paste for connecting the cob to your heatsink, and you dont need much just enough spread to
give it a thin covering (artic silver is my brand of choice($5ish)
some wago’s or wire ties(i like the wago’s for super fast connection/disconnect of wires(dirt cheap)
i had that setup in a 4ftx2ft room and in flower i couldnt get it higher than 180w without bleaching my plants. the heat was similar to running 100w of cfls and my last grow i avg 1.7gram/watt and the plants LOVED the lights
if you got the HLG-240H-C1400 you could have 5 cobs(1 in the middle and 4 in the corners. the middle one you could bump the color up to 4500k-6000k for a bump in the blue color spectrum
No its not tent, its second floor room, heigh of roomis 2,4 m .its dry. And i dont have access to fresh air. Im thinking to put mylar on my walls is it good?
Mylar is OK…
Have you got a window? Think about air exchange. That is essential, equally as important as enough of light. It is not only about getting out heat.
without air flow your humidity will go right up into the mold zone, you will need some kind of air exchange. Doesn’t have to be fancy, in my house opening the bedroom door - passive - is enough air to keep the humidity low for a 600w HPS.
if you can find mylar on the super cheap then go for it. just make sure when you put it up its very smooth or you can have hotspots reflecting and burning your plants. Your best bet would be using a flat white paint, its not as reflective as mylar but its much easier and cheaper to set up. Depending on the climate you live, your 2nd floor if not air conditioned is gonna get super hot and humid in the summer. A window a/c unit would take care of both those problems. Or if you can put a fan down the stairs and aim it upstairs if its getting too warm up there, as long as you got a decent carbon scrubber hooked up in the grow area your house shouldnt smell. As LemonadeJoe said, its not just about getting the heat out, you need the fresh air to keep the CO2 in the room up.
Thanks guys, im gonna fix that pronlem with fresh air. And what about lamps? How about these? https://fluence.science/store/spydr-series/spydrx-plus/
Or somthingfrom philips? I wanna buy good lamps, and money is not a problem
Its better to me that lamps could fit for seed veg and flowering stages and i dont needto change them in every stage. Hope you understand me
is that just a bracket or does it come with cobs and everything? If not its purdy but i wouldnt buy it since i like to get baked and build shit lol
if your comfortable with making electrical connections and cutting aluminum brackets you should hit up youtube and search for Growmau5. Hit his playlist section and he has a diy section showing how to make a cob bracket and shows how to assemble it all. Since your gonna run multiple cobs(led light) you can mix the light color temps up so your getting basically full color spectrum. a 3500k bulb has a high red and medium blue, as say the 5000k has a high blue and medium red). I havent really scoped out what all is good out there cob wise since its been a while since i made one but I know cree and vero were the 2 standouts 2 years ago. im sure someone else here has xp with cobs who can chime in on good brands if thats the route your thinking of going.
I think it comes with leds. So how many lamps i need in that dimensions room? It says these lamps have full spectrum lights, so it fits in all plant stages? Do i understand correctly? Or its better to take kindleds? The most important thing for me to get more yeld.
Yes, look like they have pretty balanced spectrum. If you want one light, it is probably fine regarding spectrum…
660W for SPYDRx PLUS
For 3’ x 3’ room it is little bit more light than you need, but with proper ventilation it is doable.
Sorry guys, i think we miss understand each other. Im from europe, and we measure everythingin meters not feets lol. So im goin to make 10x10 feets room and the heigh of chamber is 7’8 feets
You’ve got hell a lot of space there! …
Generally 600W serves 1 square meter very well. You can use less probably with COBs.
You may want to divide room so everything is accessible for maintenance.
Those spyder lights are top of the line. If you want better chexk out timber grow lights, rapid led if you wanna build your own. Or pacific light concepts has sixk lights. That companies owned by green gene on youtube.
Get the Fluence Vyper light - it’s perfect for 3X3. If you have the $750…
The Philips are cool but only run on 240v…
