whats the cultivar your growing, looks mostly indica so you may not get a lot of stretch. personally i would probably top at the end of the week or beginning of the weekend. maybe veg for another week after that, 2 may be pushing it. and make sure to tie the branches down so they spread out some. i dont grow in soil and get massive stretch no matter what im growing usually. someone else will chime in with more soil experience hopefully.

Personally I would wait till your nodes start growing a bit more. Doesn’t look like there’s any secondary branching happening yet.

you dont think as soon as it gets topped those branches wont grow out laterally?

The cultivar is ‘baggy weed’. Found the seed from a bag that I was told was Runtz, so who knows? lol

for sure i wouldnt remove any fans! thanks for your input, always good to have others advice and experience.
again im speaking solely from a hydro standpoint and the growth is so fast, its usually better to do it sooner than later.

How much light are you giving it?
You could also bend it, that might trigger the secondary growth without topping it.

Maybe after the second true node. As @Slammedsonoma420 said, that first node usually doesn’t do much, so this would hopefully trigger at least 4 branches to get growing.
