This is probably the case, more than lack of interest. You could throw em up in the coop thread and see if anyone’s willing and able to do an expansion
Here’s an update on first landrace run in perpetual grow. Plants are 26 days from seed. And will be up potted and topped next week.
2 - Morrocann beldi Kif tallest
2 - Mystery seeds next tallest
1 - MTF
3 - Panama Red 1, Runt
Well, I didn’t give up on the seeds. I’ve been keeping them in damp paper towels nearly a week now, with some light nutrient, beneficials and TM7/Seaweed.
Much to my surprise, 2 out of 3 actually opened a few days ago and a taproot has SLOWLY emerged. I’m not yet certain about the long term survival, but there’s at least a chance.
The smallest seeds I’ve ever seen come from Herijuana. A group of three Heri seeds tends to be the same size as one average cannabis seed.
Don’t let the small seeds fool you into thinking that they are inferior to larger seeds.
What about some Wedding Cake (Fems)???
Where are you located and, what are you looking for in return?
Hey, I meant to reply before, but that plant is “Golden Wedding”. '72 Colombian Gold x Malawi Gold (afropip"s hack). Mostly sativa for sure. Wedding Cake is in the cookie family or close, huh?
I want to make seeds of this plant since I have limited number of seeds. I have the Malawi Gold itself, too.
I made seeds but not the same strain. It got hit with a male from a cross I made before. No telling what it would give.
Do you have beans if the 72’ columbian gold? Looking for that and Acapulco gold for a project…
No, just the cross from a European friend. @Cristalin from Underground Seed Collective has it or did… I haven’t seem him around for a while. He was working on a storefront for his business I think.
@GMan, thx we are busy, and i make attention where ans what i post …
I’m making an limited édition of colombian gold 72
And we have still col’jam for the moment
Ciao
Hey @Cristalin hope y’all are well. Do you guys still have any Double Zamal, I’ve checked all the places I can think to check and everywheres been sold out for a hot minute
Hi doggy!
I’d appreciate some pollen if you have a bit spare!
Will be able to get you back with something special soon I’m sure
Oh no, I’ve seen really nice, big plants that you’d never believe came from such a tiny little seed. I bought a 50 mix pack from Gold Crown Seeds, and I sorted them by size because I always think small seeds = Sativa, although I doubt that’s the case.
I found a heap of small seeds sorting through all this stuff - perfectly formed and nice and dark
I might do a side by side trial between the big n small just for fun
Hey can I have read somewhere that often landrace Sativa plants can throw pale seeds, I have a heap of seeds exactly like that , like a really light tan and still be viable ? Or am I dreaming
Mmmm A 3 way race seems called for after a think
Great thread btw !!
@Upstate would love to see a preservatii on the cabeca and the malana. Some of those cabeca were sent to me but arrived crushed and the malana was something I tried to get several times but was always out if stock when I was ordering. I would love to have some malana just based on the history of the strain and the people who grow it. It’s supposed to be hard to germinate , at some point I hope to order a few packs. My birthday is soon I might have to put in a order, need some reg autos anyways.
The cabeca de negro. Ok. I’ll pop a few. Just for you! Seeds are getting old anyway. It would be a shame to lose them. The Malana i have planned to do this year. (open pollen) . I remember talking about them with you a while back. I haven’t forgotton about you😉. I’ve wanted to try this one myself for years. I picked up ( still waiting…getting nervous) a couple additional cultivars from malana. The Wailing Valley ( side valley off Malana.) And the Kali Ram hashplant, grown opposite Malana village on Nirang mt. Should i throw some of these in the mix, or keep them separate from the rsc selection? Kali ram( the farmer) has lots of purples and has been selecting dark colors for years. It seems his field and the wailing valley are more inaccessable for tourists and may have less contamination. Any thoughts? Do you know much sbout the cabeca de negro? Almost no info…
What will you do with old se asian beans? Are you planning on a reproduction? Do you have experience with these types?
Yes you are right. The plant I was referring to is the golden wedding sorry. It certainly looks worthy of reproduction. I’ll bet the F2 would be fun…or hit with malawi pollen again…
I know that it is also called Bahia Blackhead. You should be able to find information about Bahia Blackhead easier than searching it’s other names.
Yeah, that was the plan. I have the straight up Malawi Gold seeds and the cross. I’m trying to cobble together a space to be able to run the long flowering strains without interruption. My biggest obstacle is getting the environment under control. I have all of the space and ceiling height I need but the winters here are brutal here so I’m working to address my temperature and humidity control.
@DesertGrown knows the guy who made them, @Smiletstyle. He’s a member on another forum. I’m really excited to get it all dialed in because i want to do some preservation and crossing. He also sent me some Lemon Thai that I don’t even want to grow until I’m dialed in and ready to make some seeds with them. Then I can share!
