Landrace Expansion & Trade

That’s what I was thinking. Not another thing seems to be growing.

Love the idea of a pollen trading pool that would open up some insane possibilities. I want to get in on the Mexican Christmas grow that would be fun never had an opportunity to try Acapulco gold or any Mexican lines. I got to start following this thread more closely.

Jump on in, think we’re gonna spread the pollen around as well as seeds that come from it…:metal::sunglasses::seedling:

Hi Upstate! Andarab is different than Baharak. They are both Hindu Kush varieties, but different villages. I have some Baharaks that should flower in a couple of weeks. I also have an Andarab or two in veg still. Not sure if I’m going to flower any this upcoming round. :v:

Edit: It’s also my understanding Khlom is the same as Tashkurghan.

Whatcha got on your list, I lean to Landrace and older first crosses. Could always use skunk. Any good Purples.

I have a buddy in Washington who gave me some samples of a Purple Hindu Kush. It was fabulous and the prettiest purple pot I’ve seen, with bright, thick, orange pistils.

I found one seed in the bud that I planted but lost it. He said he had some he could send. It herms bad, as seen by the obvious yellow bananas in the finished bud.

I didn’t care after smoking it. I’ll let you know when I get them. It had a great buzz. I have pics I can get. On my phone now

Yeah I’m game, little naner late never kept me from sniping it in water and smoking it. I was just wondering what the over under will be on Thais pulled for herming in flower half way? They are prone also and my Purp was a lone bag seed and did not herme. The GG4 was like that it would herme a few stems per batch. Dozen from a pound broke up for pressing.

Here are a few pics of the buds. It was some special weed I thought. Very terpy, too.

Awww man, love those colors. It would go perfect with the BP. From the crosses I’ve grown he either f2 them to get the Indica dominance, fat cone kolas and short stout frame for tent growers. Or the BP does not show the 75% Sativa when crosses again with the heavy Afghani x and SK1 x. Guy from NY showed one that was literally black with orange hairs sticking out. Mines dark but don’t think it will get that far. And more Purple in Purple Thai is like “More Cowbells!!! “ In a. Blue Oyster Cult song.

Really bright purple. Love to see it grown out. Are they unworked? Did you start those sativas?

Thank you. That just put Andarab on my to do list. How are the plants looking? Are they in the ground? Handling humidity? I’ve been keeping an eye out for pistachio pot for some time. Excited to hear/ see more of the Baharak. What else can you tell us about Andarab.? Are you liking one over the other? Stem rub smell unusual?

That would be great! The more the merrier! Collaboration will get us all where we want to go much faster than singly.

Just picked up some pre 90’ Nevilles Haze, heard so much about it I couldn’t pass it up.

Little update on the @lefthandseeds triple Durban. I think you hit a homer on this one starting to stack now, gonna be long sharp spear buds and leaf…nice work!!

Wow, you’re doing a great job on her! That’s looking really awesome.

Nice thing about her is the nodes are close and no crazy stretch. Beautiful lateral branching. If she goes around 70 I think they will stack together for some spiral 2’ mains. Only thing I did was top 6 down to 4 just before up pot and over a week to show sex. Easy plant to grow with little training.

So how does one get in on this it sounds like fun. I talked a little to lefthand a little bit about it but didn’t get into it. I was going to try his ppp or Panama haze hybrid he made if I can’t make a Mexican landrace happen.

That’s fantastic. It does have very close nodes and yet looks to be filling in a fairly sativa bud structure. Let’s hope it runs a fairly short flower too. I’m so excited! Thanks for the pics.
