So I got a price quote…and it is high. $6,000 for a light. However, it uses 1/2 the energy of LEDs, and produces 1/2 the heat. And, each light covers 100 square feet, which is huge. Each light uses 1100 watts, and less than 5 amps, which makes them between four and six times as efficient as HPS lights , depending on if you use a thousand watt light to cover a 5 by 5 area, or a 4 by 4 area. They are not recommended for spaces smaller than 64 sq ft or ceilings less than 8 feet. A smaller light is available soon for smaller spaces, hopefully coming with a smaller price tag as well… these lights will probably be the wave of the future, and if we are truly out to make marijuana a green crop, then these are a must. I don’t expect Santa to deliver, but these just made my Christmas list lol.
I wanted to add, that these people claim that their lights can reset genetic drift. That’s a pretty incredible claim. They claim that it will bring back tired clones to 100% of their former selves.
www.thesunondemand.com. you tube…
And @thesunondemand on instagram.
Did you pop these? This is one of the oldest strains on my wishlist. I’m really interested to see how they perform.
I had missed your post days ago. So this isn’t affiliated with reeferman then… is there a legitimate site that he has up and running currently? I’m still interested in his hoabac. I heard that he is doing very well, and everything is up to par. Have you heard this as well or do you have any further information?
Thanks for the complement. Malawi do have a heavy bud structure, but I think the pictures are a little deceiving. When I looked at them even I was impressed, but they are only 18-22 inches. I should have up potted my first time at least two weeks earlier than I did, but these have been so easy to grow they never looked like they needed a transplant. And in my case, smaller is better than bigger anyway. One has been a lighter green, but it’s the one that’s been happiest all along. I’m certainly no expert on these long flowering types, but I don’t think there are going to be any going longer than a hundred days. I hope I’m wrong. If these Bud for more than another 40 days, they will get truly massive nugs and I’ll be a happy camper. But as they are currently, you know, midgets LOL, I’m already planning out how to ration them for the year. I was hoping to fill a couple more jars than it looks like I’m going to fill. If its as good as the descriptions I’ve read, there will be no complaints
Hi Cristalin. That double zamal and double jamacain sound great. Which is your most electric sativa?
In back two island sweet skunk tashkenti cross,
In middle are three tashkenti
In front is one Gorilla Girl, a freebie gem I threw in for it’s giggles
Tashkenti are white rim cups
One Romulan grapefruit clone is dyin in peat pot
I just received the Eastern manipur Burma and north Indian red stem direct from the exchange but ace defiently has there gear now ,The Landrace society has some of there stuff now also and ships from Oregon. I recommend going threw fullpowerselections for the best price and access to there full collection, if you do they ship from India directly and arrive in amazingly fast time. They have alot of great stuff in there collection and are really good people, the red stem are some of the smallest seeds I’ve seen in a long time.
@lefthandseeds sounds good to me.
I had plans to make seeds, and to gve back to the community.
BUT, fucking mice killed 20 or more Parental seed plants I had put out .The genetic material I had planned to use, no longer exists. I have some back up plans tho.
Im rockig some RebelGrown gear (Emerald cup breeder of the year 2017) that I wanna work with. Alot of the work has already been done as I bought them as worked lines. Some are Gen4-5 and some less than that. Their Double OG Sour Im excited for. Its an improved OGKush x Sour Diesel. Its been IX’d and BX’d back to the sour mom. (Basically cubed back to the sour mom)
Whatever I come up with, Im downn for sharing and trading. Peeps been real good to me here. Id like to give back.
I paid nearly $200 CAD for those DOGS beans. Id like to get some mileage out of em.
Ill be back, with beans (i hope), if Im blessed this year Ill share.
@lefthandseedsOh, is this for landrace only then?
If so I apologize. Didnt catch the play for a second lol.
Dont really have any Landrace that i know of.
I cannot speak to any specific facts, but I too remember a time way back now on some Canna -boards when some greasy shit was(allegedly) going on surrounding Reef. U not the only one w/ that feeling bro.
Something put me off about him way back, so Ive never run any of his gear. This was back when he just won his High Times Cannabis Cup award for his Santa Marta/Love Potion.
Thanks for the pics! Are these feminized or is there a regular line available somewhere? I’ll have some Tashkurgan pollen(rsc) at some point if you want to make babies. Looks like I have a couple shorter phenos, but it’s hard to tell because they are all currently short( on purpose).
Pollen is a month out from now if I had to guess.
I remember Island sweet skunk from VISC a decade back. Excellent mold resistance on that one, and was supposed to be a local favorite on Vancouver island. I smoked some Burma Gold / F’in Incredible mixed with hash while in Vancouver years ago. Got so paranoid I mailed the seeds I purchased back to myself rather than risk crossing the border with them. There were only 30 seeds lol. That was some strong shit!!! Island sweet skunk is from the same neck of the woods, and is supposed to be seriously strong. Should make for a great hybrid mixed up with Tashkenti.
I have ten of those from a member here ( Federation Seed Company)
just had to wait until I got over killing beans
going to be a fall project to make some beans from them
all the best
Dequilo
Should be a winner! Are these regular seed or you plan to make a hybrid? Either way, sure to be some fire! Look forward to seeing them grown.
When should we be on the lookout for fresh seeds, then? Those are some gnarly sativas you have there! Crazy buds on them. Glad to hear I haven’t missed out on a chance to grab them.
they are I hope to do an open pollination with the males and females
but save some clones of the females to work with
all the best
Dequilo
Excellent. I’ll keep my fingers crossed! These are definitely worth preserving, and seem like they were Taylor Made for upstate New York, and wet regions in general. I’ll be looking forward to seeing them grown. Sounds like some monster colas can be expected.
that is the only thing I dreading is the heavy dew in the fall here
I have had crops destroyed with gray mold
but most things are in pots and I can moved them inside for the night
my garage is 25 feet by 45 feet so I have room
just more work but I will be working until the day I die
just another day on the road to utopia
be safe and be well
Dequilo
PS I will share the beans I make OverGrow The World
Vancouver is awful wet. I hope they can handle New York. I would think so, but the write-up did say they do well in greenhouses in BC…one thing is for sure. In NY they will be tested!
Island sweet skunk is my jam!
Its daily medication the tashkenti is supposed to be pain killer also. I messaged Taylor at next generation and he doubld my order. I have a female in the greenhouse use her for clones? I also have romulan grapefruit from next gen.
Tashkenti were regulars and have pollen saved from a previous grow. Hope to make seeds from all of these.
