I just checked it went to flower 6/20 so I’m guessing she has 3-4 weeks to put her at 75 where I’m guessing she should finish. You can’t see well in the pictures but the buds are swirling like soft serve ice cream. should be a keeper, whatcha think??

Holy moly that looks awesome. Those are some beautiful towers you got going. Every time you show it, just keeps getting better. Are you getting much in the way of smells yet?

Hard to tell with all the strains in there, I’ll let you know Sunday when I pull it out of the jungle To separate room for feeding, she’s drinking twice what the others are. No sign of the pistils wilting yet, I opened up this morning and bud weight had it bent over!! Early smell was black licorice / Anise with a bit of honey…

Got into those little bastards in the Carolinas. Talk about itchy! They last forever too! Thank god for nail polish remover! Waaaaay worse than prickers. Stinging nettles are in abundance here. For short term aggravation they are pretty nasty. Hate getting into those, but they still aren’t chiggers. Most aggravating bug I’ve ever had the displeasure of meeting.

Is that @lefthandseeds Triple Durban straight up or something crossed to it? I finally got 3 of them started along the 4P Haze and Nevilles haze. I think I need to start my Go Fund Me page now, to be able to cope this winter. Where there’s a will there’s a way!

YES, I smell the peach\apricot perfume; why do I wake up with glitter on my face ?

Yes it is, about 3 weeks left pistils are just getting darker… beautiful forgiving maintenance free plant. And yes the smell has gotten sweeter, like clove honey, not overpowering but nice and subtle.

Damn, it’s insane looking. I’ll need your tips to keep it somewhat small and manageable. I’ll have other sativa going at the same time. Not sure what exactly that’ll look like but I have a couple of months to figure it out, heh.

Update on the @lefthandseeds Triple Durban. Exhibiting perfect symmetry, buds spiraling from both towers filling in as long as my arm. Pistils starting to darken a little not pulling back yet though. Still taking nutes at higher rate than any of the others.

It looks like it’s starting to fill in the resin a little bit more. I wonder if about to make the shift.

Looks like it’s turning, buds are all long hairs with dense centers. Oily like Thai, smell sweeter like clove honey.

I’m having trouble really seeing how the buds are structured. The pistils are so long and I can see the calyxes down toward the centers. The nugs that are forming look like nice little pine cones running up the stem. I’m so jealous… I’ve gotta grow it soon. :joy:

You can’t see in the pics but yes seconds are spiraling around the stem, look at leafs on the tower, they spiral only way I can explain is like soft serve ice cream, I’ll cure the towers intact so you can see structure.

Is Durban similar to Thai in that it will be more resin than trichromes, have never grown it?

Not as extreme as Thai, but the glands on the CBG Durban are pretty short I think. I’d bet since there’s 25% of the Dutch Durban in there, it might have slightly longer glands too. I can take some pics of cured CBG Durban bud under a loupe sometime.
