Landrace preservation and hybrids project

Thanks maybe I’ll use it in “teas” (but a low rates)(alaska fish) have their “More Buds” their bloom fertilizer -
they also have a kelp also - Maybe I will stop using alaska fish – Fish Shit which I use during flush work well, - feel one has to feed ; at very low rates; durin final flush - see that starving your plant for 2 weeks can influence harvest - Neptunes products wouls also work well

I don’t know how you keep your plants so PM free in that area your plants look amazing I’m having hell this year my big One the Turkish Landrace mixed with ancient OG the Turkish Twist from Copa got nailed with it Been trying to keep it back with defoliation and Cease sprays holding the fort at the moment and Cease is stabilizing the PM and destroying it at the moment and this year was bad where I’m at my Oaxacans got blasted with it and the only one that lasted was my male he was in the thick of it all im saving him for pollen the silversides has a weak spot for PM here it was the worst one to get it I had to toss it was pissed. You must have some good PM resistant genetics.I’m going to have to pollen chuck for PM resistance.

I always use local soil in my mixes and I believe that there are microbes that help the plants from getting sick and getting bugs. I witnessed this first hand a couple years ago when I had a plant that was heavily infected with powdery mildew . I mean the plant was almost completely white it was so bad . I took the plant out to the woods , dumped it out of its pot and left it there to die . I kept getting powdery mildew with my other plants which was unusual so one day I decided to take a stroll back to that dead plant and found that it had rooted itself into the ground and was growing again vegetatively . All the old growth that was made by the plant while it was in the container was infested with powdery mildew . All the new growth that the plant made after it rooted itself into the ground was mildew free entirely. This is why I’m thinking microbes play a big part in plant health and resistance. I also just pick strains that do well in high humidity areas for the most part. Old Silversides herself seems to be PM resistant, hanging out this summer within yards of PM, but I’m not surprised that other tall stretchy Oaxaca plants could get it, being that they’re from a dry climate originally. If your plants are still in vegetation mode or if you are only growing for seed only you can use a sulfur spray to kill the PM permanently. Dissolve one teaspoon of sulfur in a gallon of water and spray your plants. PM permanently gone

Was this back in the early '90s or mid-90s maybe?

There is a lot of support for healthy plants, rich in minerals, with high brix (above 13) deterring insects and plant pathogens alike. Much love

I’m a pain and Inflammation patient myself. And Sativas work best for with a Thai strain I have working best because of the THCV.

Check out Golden Tiger , and Doc d’s GT crosses

The best medicine i found was Cherry Tiger
Golden Tiger x Cherry Cake

Great stuff about the microbes. And strains varying in protection from enemies. I myself have a few strains I’ve worked a lot. And my Thai is more susceptible to PM but not necessarily bugs.

So Boron is a big deal?

Soo time for an update! Thanks to everyone that discusses things here! Definitely good topics!

Here we go:

The durban poison(the best pic I could get of everything lol):

The whole setup:

This is the DJ that its like the small sister of the DP, in the pics up you can see the small plants, those are DJ too, and one behind the cloud walker(big one, the one at the right) is getting tall(1,70 already):

So far im really happy with the results, im watering with an automatic system, 2 times a day, 2 minute watering, and the feed its just bat guano + the supersoil in the patch. I already harvested the critical widow, as I dont think she could stand the weather its coming in(plus she already had amber trichs), first wind would break her apart, next one will be the cloud walker(october finals) and next will be the DP and DJ. The critical widow has a suuper nice smell, sweet watermelon I would say, strange for this strain, but amazing!. I will report a test when fully dried. The cloud walker is also putting some work in! A lot of flowers already, cant wait to see her bud!

True, bugs and other pests will be attracted to sick/unhealthy plants first.

Edit: I got 2 seeds, this one was the survivor, it was a mother plant that I brung outdoors, it has been through freezings and everything

I am looking for a certain flavour of hash. I want to cross an old school hash and g13 that I used to grow back in the early 2000s. But unfortunately someone broke into my place and stole all my mothers and seeds I had been saving. Which brings me back To the Nepalese seeds I have a friend who sent me these Nepalese highland land race. I’m going to cross with some g13 regular I have been fortunate enough to find in my travels. The strain I had before was I think Mr.Nice or Mr.Nice guy. I have ordered the strain since but it is different for some reason.

I rememder that Mr. Nice strain. G13× Hash plant
It must have been special… So sorry someone you met could do that to you( had to be someone that knew what you did) Been there myself. I injured my back years ago and was immobilized and while i was my employee and brother in law stole plants out of my room. Some years earlier i had some law trouble ( weed)and this same brother in law hiked to my bush patch and stole the whole thing " to protect me from myself" so i wouldn’t harvest it to pay a lawyer. Claimed it was mostly molded but my personal old gear is immune. I knew something was shady. He had helped me plant in the spring and was supposed to be my partner for the season, but had backed out and i took care of the patch Myself all season. Anyway, his co thief friend spilled the beans years later around a campfire. Not knowing it was my weed he helped my brother in law steal, he said " Man! You remember the time we grabbed all that pot from ( location)? I was high for two years!"
Bro in law says " there wasn’t that much. It was molded". Which is what he told me.
First guy again." Are you f*cking kidding me?!!! There were contractor bags full of only bud! My arms hurt carrying it out! There wasn’t any mold!!!"
I can still remember my (ex) brother in laws guilty look from beyond the campfire flames.
Anyway. I feel your pain. Sucks being stolen from.
Oh yeah… Did he give me any money for my lawyer?
No. Not a cent of the $25,000. Found out he was selling a bunch of it too.
I hope you manage to create something close to what you remember.

Just a suggestion, I don’t use no N when I bubble because it can grow bad microbes so I bubble for how ever long then I mix N in at the end and serve edit you probably already know just trying to be helpful
