Led light, indoor cultivation and how would you go about it

  • The light is well matched for the tent (W/M^2) & CMH is a good light.
  • Verify the accuracy of the temperature/humidity sensor before you trust it.
  • No clue about the soil and supplements.
  • Plan on upgrading the internal circulating fan (very few are happy with those pole clip-ons)
  • Keep an eye on the digital timer, I found they ‘lose their minds’ at any power fluctuation. I’ve gone back to the older analog timers.
  • If you can, mount the ballast and exhaust fan external to the tent (cuts down on the heat).
  • Those flower pots may or may not be suitable.

Never used CMH, heard great things though.

One thought is upkeep cost the cmh bulbs are a bit pricey compared to the hps bulbs. For me locally a 400w hps is around $25cad , cmh are $85.

CMH are better to look at things under. I have to turn off my HPS to really check things out which is kind of a pain.

From what I have read HPS and CMH are about equivalent in terms of PAR per watt.

I think either choice will be great for the size tent you are looking at.

I think I found my growset. I’m just a little scared of that light bulb.

Thanks for the offer, but I’d rather buy the whole set because I’m a beginner and I don’t know much about everything I need.

OK, dude

all right, good wishs for you
