Let's discuss Bigfoot

A lot of ppl I’ve heard interviewed claim to have PTSD from their experiences. Some were avid hunters who refuse to go in the woods again. Others swear they’ll never go in the woods alone.

I agree! The woods are dangerous, especially when alone.

I’ve always hear there was two types , one smaller and friendly the other large , stinky and not so friendly, might be able to shift from one realm to the other, might be made up to keep people out of the woods.
I’ve also heard it’s ok if you don’t believe because they believe in you

I certainly agree about finding bones. And, if they have a form of culture they may very well bury their dead!

My feet are pretty big and I’m a half a fictional character.

I cant afford to lose that !

Love it! Some claim there are four types on Bigoot in North America. If so, it’d make sense that nature has modified them to fit their environments, especially if the gene pools don’t mix.

To me, the scariest are those reported to have glowing red eyes. No other mammals have glowing eyes. They’ve been reported numerous times with Bigfoot.

You should write a book on that! A fearsome but somewhat cute predator!

Love the summary!

I think stoners, especially growers, are curious about the world and the things you mentioned spur our imaginations.

Perspectives on these topics change over time and different discussion participants can give the ideas their own bent.

So, while the topics for discussion are repetitive the discussions themselves differ.

Plus it’s fun and relatable for many.

It’s about money. The small town I grew up in is plastered in bigfoot crap. Never heard mention of bigfoot for my entire life until about 5 years ago. It coincided with fans of a popular booger man show driving through the town on the way to filming locations. Now every store, well all three of them, have squach merch.

Never given it much thought, the foothills nearby were always rumored to have devil worshipers. Rumors perpetuated by the fellars making liquor. “Don’t go out there, sasquatch’ll get ya” is now “hey, y’all wanna see a werewolf?, well buy this T-shirt.”

I’m on the fence ! i’ve seen a lot of evidence, pro and con and obviously the fuzzy pictures, but some of them were pretty clear . And what seems to be credible witnesses which is concerning, but that being said The only way for sure is when somebody comes up with a dead body that’s the only thing that will prove it . until that time we have no proof, a lot of us are going to be on the fence until proven , a lot of things are coming out of the woodwork for example the Tasmanian tiger has been found again. Various other so called cryptics are being spotted the smaller the world gets
Why not , anything is possible but again I’d hate to see it proven at the life of this elusive creature.

I totally agree that the creature has been monetized! This disturbs a lot of native Americans.

Also, all the BS clouds the issue and fills the woods with those dumbass sasquatch hunters trying to make a cheap show or video.

I agree that science requires a body.

I couldn’t kill one. To me it’d be a form of homicide. But I have a soft heart.

I used to believe in them till a read something before when I was looking into a mini PCR and DNA testing.

Basically it said they can take water from a stream or creek etc. and if an animal or insect uses the bathroom in the environment, sheds its fur etc. that animal or insects dna end up washing into the creeks and rivers. Doing this they know what’s in the forest and what’s not.

Great point! Actually, I saw a documentary where they tested waters in a known bigfoot area and came back with "unknown hominid "

I have no expertise in DNA, so I can’t tell if they were BSing me.

Regardless, you make a good point that this type of investigation should be going on.

It is also believed by some that- like werewolves, these are people with Hypertrichosis - a condition that causes a growth of thick hair allover the face and body.
Who knows?
