Let's have another round....testing etc

Made a new batch of feed. Measured 2 gallons of water boiled yesterday and then cooled overnight. Using Megacrop v3 target ~600 ppm. Water checked at 133 ppm Was trying to get about 4.25g/gallon wound up with 9.20 grams instead of 8.5 and just went with it.

After mixing tested and came in at 752 ppm Checked the pH Looks like a 6.0 fine for a coco base media

Humidity is up for days now. Worse yesterday. Better today.

Those are outstanding…hows your place smell?

Those are the plants by lefthand…outstanding!!!

be nice to grow a clone crop of those…

Charcoal filter takes care of 95% of it. Normal smells of cooking and cleaning and some air freshener in a couple of critical spots.

@Mr.Sparkle @MomOnTheRun When she sent these boards MoTR said that in cabinets her xp was that 30 watts/ft ^2 was the sweet spot In Mr Sparkles cabinet thread he also says the he was getting too much light on his plants.

In the past running screw in bulbs with the covers on them I could grow the plant up to and touching the lens. But when the covers came off or the board had no diffusion the plants don’t seem to like as much light as the two of you noted. This is contrary to most of the stated material that I observed coming into this where 35+ watts per square foot or higher is usually recommended.

At the least for anything not on a rheostat/dimmer it would seem best to target that 30 watts instead when purchasing.

So in the last month I have redone the way I feed and lowered the light levels when the plants approach within 12-14 inches of the light.

Also fighting pests with various methods. Ladybugs among them. Lacewings inroute and some predatory mites ordered and in bound as well

Well something to consider apart from light distance from the plants, is also day length.

So where most figures or peoples quotes of say 35w/sqft for current good led lighting is enough for good flowering, they are typically referring to a 12/12 flowering cycle.

Now if running those same levels over a 18/6 schedule though the plants are getting 50% more light over the course of the day than if running 12/12.

Just has been my observations more as of late and depends on the plants too but they do droop a couple hrs before lights out if the light levels are on the higher end, where as pulled back a bit they dont and this changes depending on what stage of life they are in too.

all of these observations are in reference to flowering stage and 12/12 Which is also where more feed is taken up. Humidity is lower and after prolonged dry periods without the introduction of predators mites explode.

Well thats the other thing, learning to read what the plants are telling us i know im far from even begin an intermediate in these regards, but when ruling out possibilities through trial and error and watching responses to changes we induce we get to narrow things down a little.

@beacher since he claimed to have a pack  and @GrowHard as the breeder
Number one is pretty frosty and smells sweet and fruity. As they get older the smell is more complex and deep. The buds are sticky

At 6 weeks

Number 2 is still in stretch mode and piling on the flowers. I went at it with some pollen a couple days back. Not really getting a result yet but like with #1 it probably will get another dose.

Humidity has been above 60% for days on end now. Temps in the cabinet at 85 by the end of the day Bumped feeding to get a 625 ppm solution of the nutes so with 130 ppm tap water running at ~750 ppm Media is Royal Gold Tupur in a 2 gallon bag

Those seedlings hurt. I don’ think I have done that poorly ever before. Compacted soil and adding any worm castings will be a no-no when starting seeds for me at least. If I get a male and some pollen it will be fine and so put in 12/12 lol

SBxPAK a batch of these is next up. Very fruity scents.

@Calyxander finished Bosch and received the "the Black Echo’ totally different plot line. I think I will enjoy the series. Reminds a bit of the way Master and Commander was conflated/condensed from the 18 book series though

@toastyjakes if you have not watched ‘Snatch’ it is hilarious and you should see it. Preferably in a stoned state

And as we can tell from his comment @cannabissequoia was blinded by the light

Seeds should have very minimum nutes for the first couple weeks.
Promix is perfect for beans, enough nutes for 2 weeks then ya better start giving them a tad.

Number 1 pheno looks like a real beaut! Is #2 at 6 weeks also? It looks way behind…

no it is 3 weeks behind #1 …I would guess it looks more like Mama and the #2 like Snow Lotus but having never grown either before it is just a WAG

Oh cool. Would be nice to get a qm leaner, thats supposed to be a very special plant. Either way looking good, it’s nice to get a sneak preview of them.

Of course I took no clones  OTOH only germed half the pack and looking forward to a search of the f2’s already

Lol that’s always the way. There’s always reveg!

@beacher Actually …had forgotten I took these. Were 4 or 5. All left in a spot close to a window and this one survived and has a root!

Thanks past self haha. I keep copies of literally everything now until I’m sure I don’t want to keep it.

I wonder does it really matter if you f2 everything at least you would have progeny. But then there is the clone only argument…pfffff beyond me.

Have received and placed sachets of Amblyseius Cucumeris and Lacewing eggs

Ya it would be nice and you should be able to find similar phenos especially with lots of seeds. For me the process from starting seeds to finally choosing a keeper mother is so lengthy that I don’t want to do it again…

I’m hoping to eventually have a few mothers I really like and run through new seeds on the side.

Are those sachets predatory mites or something?
