I was thinking this. I think that was a crow it had in its claws. It was bigger than I thought when it flew off.
Tiny Tim the turtle was excited to make the center fold. * The Water Lily leaf he’s on, is folding a little in the center.
Even Wood Duck hens know that one must keep all of their ducks in a row.
How is it that I get to take so many wildlife shots? Well first one has to stop and
smell the flowers, as that helps. Some wild iris that were growing in a ditch along with cattails.
And then, more importantly, one needs one of these.
Nessie is following behind a very large painted turtle.
Nessie is huge. At least 3 feet long from tip to tip. She is a very large soft shelled
turtle and a good chance she is older than I am.
Hummers have been hanging around for extra long this year.
Wifey feeds them almost daily
We also have the notorious SuperFly hanging around all the time.

When it’s hot we water the birds with a sprinkler pointed up into the trees. Friday we saw a Red Sholdered Hawk getting a bath.

An indigo bunting flew by also. We see a few of those.

over here in Hessia/Germany they found a 10kg-Snapping Turtle,washed in with the high waters we had lately
