A dang big one , at that.
it’d be a dead one in my yard or on the farm.
These snakes come in every once in a while to steal an egg. Once, a big blacksnake came in and ate a duck egg, and was curled up sleeping when I saw it. I grabbed it’s tail, and pulled it out of the coop into the run, and he tried to get away through some 4x2 rectangular chicken wire, but the egg was too wide, and he tugged till i pulled him out, lol.
“Thats a fucking dummy move, buddy. I’ll help ya. Looks like you could use a hand”
…i´m not an expert,but it don´t looks like…
…and Copperheads are venemous snakes, they don´t eat eggs imho
I believe it’s a corn snake. Gets mistaken for copperheads a lot.
my buddy had corn snakes back then…no,its not a cornsnake.
do you know the name @breadwinner …that one looks kinda tropical (i guess, you in US)
I believe it’s a copperhead.
The story is about a blacksnake tho.there are may e 10 types of “black snakes” in my area, non venomous
Not all from this year but here’s what I’ve seen.
Decent sized Garter Snake.
Little 5-Lined Skink.
Huge Pileated Woodpecker pecking at an old stump.
Annoyed baby bird.
More baby birds.
A pair of Goldfinches.
Box Turtle sticking his head out.
Big fat Bullfrog that has been here for a few years at least.
And some squirrels.
One day I’ll get a picture of these Sandhill Cranes. Either the photos turn out horribly, I don’t have my phone on me, or my hands are too sweaty to use the phone. One of these days though. Haha
cute one…looks like manageable size.
