So I think it was a Cal-Mag issue with the BC and GSN in Coco. They are getting greener every hour. We will see
I will be checking the sex on the unsexed soon. BRB
Man my sipper is stuck on my tent. I hope it’s not permanent. Any tips guys?
You probly need to work the zipper from the inside to get it unstuck. Has happened to me a few times no biggie. It’s probly the fabric flap on the inside got into the zipper. It will come out.
Thanks @BigMike55 I have to do some work in there soon.
Look behind zipper theres a flap. Its caught in the zipper. Hold the flap still and back the zipper up.
Yeah coco steals the calmag from the plants. You got to add extra usually.
Yeah I wasn’t sure. I don’t use Cal-Mag in my WC anymore unless they look like they need it. This is my first time growing in coco. First I fluctuated the PH just to see. But they are really responding well to the Cal-Mag.
Today looks like it would be a perfect day to be at the pond.
I got the zipper undone. She was stuck pretty good. And yuppers she was stuck on the back side.
No more sex news some look like they should be showing. Maybe tomorrow.
The Blue Cookies is looking a whole lot better now that she’s got more bubbles going. I gotta soak the airstones in… peroxide maybe. I have a thread floating around about cleaning airstones. I’ll have to do some searching.
I’m having trouble deciding what branches I want to keep on the Black Candyland. When I can’t decide I usually go with every other one.
I’m feeling more happy and confident everyone is doing good and is happy in the garden.
I grew up fishing kings and silver in the puget sound and the straight between wa and canda. I live on the Eastside now so I wait till the come up the rivers.
I changed to airline T’s I can clean them with a toothpick. The stones… I went through several flats before I changed out. Magnesium is what chlorophyll is made out of, so it makes sense it would green up.
That’s awesome man. I have always wanted to check out WA state. Everyone wants to go to Cali. Lol. Why? Take me north!
I just wanted to go through the motions of process of elimination to see.
What are these Ts you speak of?
I have those. What’s the nut for? We don’t need fine bubbles?
The stainless nut keeps the hose and T on the bottom. It’s high grade stainless so it won’t rust. You don’t need fine bubbles, because the movement of the water itself is enough to oxygenate it.
That’s awesome. I’m going to give it a go.
You won’t be disappointed I’ve been doing it for… probably 17 years. I used to use the airstones but got pissed off when they crumbled into grains of whatever they are made out of. The T’s are way more sturdy, I’ve never ruined one. But I do accidentally toss them in the compost sometimes, then find them in the garden a year later. Scrub em off they are good to go another round.
Yes sir, way cooler up there. One day I’ll get to Alaska for some fishing
There a hell of a lot cheaper too!
