Day 42 of flower, I’ll likely chop on the original schedule of July 15th. She’s so resin covered! Literally sticky.
This girl is cracking out some nice little flowers.
Not REAL tight node spacing but I have seen worse.
What a haircut!!! Are going to enlist in the marines?
That is a extreme defoliation, in 3 weeks flower, aren’t you afraid of hermiing by such stress?
Holy buzz cuts Batman!!
Not on day 21.
I read the 21 day for the ladies, When then? Was in flowering?
I never tried to do such a defoliation, well I tried but I was so scaried that almost removed only the yellowing ones
And that defoliation would help much, because I have a jungle-in-a-tent
Don’t be scared. 21 day of flower give her a trim.
Days 17-25 my girls get their “Brazilian”. Larf, sucker branches, and shade leaves come off, I’m not as hard on them as @THCeed, but yeah, a trim in week 3 won’t hurt them.
I’ve been promising pics so I’ll really try to get some tonight. I don’t have the lpc75 in flower yet but I do have 3 of the other crosses that are about ready for their trim also.
More happy than sad about breaking down the 3x4, I can breathe in my grow room.
Of the wall question, anyone know how to play a Dobro? Or an acoustic steel? I don’t know squat about stringed instruments. They were my grandfather’s and I’d like to honor him by learning at least a little.
Mine defoliated itself. Haha. But she’s back on track I think.
A dobro is tuned to an open G chord. That makes it extremely easy to pick up playing it.
Tune the strings to (starting on the top ((fattest)) string) G, B, D, G, B, D.
Because it is an “open G”, if you strum all six strings without using the left hand at all, you have made a G chord. If you have an ear for music, finding the tune (melody) of a song is super easy because of that open G tuning. Get her tuned up and find a YouTube video (or preferably many) of an easy tune that you can slowly work out the melody on. Before long (and I mean right quickly) you will find that it’s easy and fun. Don’t get discouraged when you first try to find that tune. Because you really don’t use the frets, but use the slide instead, finding the correct placement of the slide to make the right note, cleanly, can be fun (not). But as soon as you pick the note you will hear it’s off and you can adjust your hand slightly to find the proper (clean) note. After that, it’s just muscle memory that puts you in the right place for a true note. Muscle memory only comes with a lot of practice.
Good luck joheimgrohen. Please let me know how it goes. And much good luck to you.
I wanna try pedal steel guitar for some reason. I think it was actually invented for Hawaiian music but it sounds rediculously nice on blues.
Holy shart!!!
My plant will not be that nice. That’s some nice buddage right there.
Thanks pal. That’s certainly appreciated given the plants ive seen you grow!
I missed my weekly update so here is a look at the girls.
That #2 gal just won’t green up for some reason. I’ve bumped the feed until I’m getting burnt tips and even some clawing but she continues to yellow out a little more each day. It’s the leaves in the middle level so I’m inclined to think Nitrogen but I’m starting to wonder what’s going on with her.
@Maddawg ,
Now that you have seen a little of the structure and what the buds look like on these plants, do you have any idea of the mystery pollen donor?
Looking great despite any issues @MoBilly. very similar structure to mine I think
Thanks @MonasticDank . You know how it is. We just want showgirls every time. lol
Looking good @MoBilly and @MonasticDank, mine have the same structure, jusy a couple weeks behind yours. mine at 29 days.
Those look like fire!! Great job!
