Come on guys! What’s with being slow with those bribes!! They could be useful right now. lol
Sorry for the joke brother. Maybe I should have waited till you fed the pack of wild gov dogs first.

I did this last time and it’s way better. Easier to stir your bud/ice slurry. Easier on the bags and my arm

Get a paint stirrer from the hardware store. It goes on a drill and there’s no stress on the arm.

I’ve done this before, the end result was ok but wasn’t great, Too much plant material. I see people making some great hash piles with the mixer though so I think I’ll have to give it another go and be a bit easier with the drill

That sounds like something to keep in mind. I’ve just stirred by hand but about 45 minutes ago I texted my wife to pick one up while she’s in town. lol

I still say Dry Ice works better, and gives a better quality and quantity
I made bubble hash for years, then tried Dry Ice… not going back

I plan to find out about that for myself when I can. :+1:

From what I’ve read it’s more about the vortex created than the force paddle/mixer. If I was going to use the mixer again I would just leave it in the Center of the bucket and let the mixer create a vortex to remove the trichomes instead of going nuts with the drill…or something like that anyways

IDK, It looks to me like that plant material needs to be broken up to get all the goodies from the inside… Maybe just not quite as much. lol

I use a grout stirrer

Also I use a storage tote which holds about 12-14 gallons about 2/3 full and just dump through the bags, way easier and handles the foam better not having it all frothed on the top since it’s getting dumped into the next bucket

Cheap bags or tough bags why put wear and tear on em when their purpose is to simply sift and screen, to each their own I suppose but def found a better mix/agitation letting the material freeflow in whatever container without em

As I mentioned these are just suggestions of ways to improve the method without just using a washing machine. At least makes things easier for me anyhow

If you put this up before I missed it.
When these are harvested some trimmed bud shots would help a lot from all entries!

Might have! Think last one was a couple weeks ago so I’ll def try to post a lil more often.
Oh absolutely will take good pics of the buds pulling out a phone with macrolens when that time comes, plant looks like a bushy yielder so should have plenty to find a good pic with
