Longtooth’s log book

Looks pretty hot for a seedling :seedling:, what is it?

Bound for the bin. Agreed though, very strong example.

I had a run of Strayfox purchases and have extras of this strain and will try again.

As for breeding possibilities, the “locker room” is filling up ATM.

Unfortunately this time Brawndo also turned out to be a “he’ as well and it’s looking that way for Triforce x PPP too. :person_shrugging:

That’s what happens when you run singles of regular strains…. Sometimes it’s a dood…

I’ve grown out Copas Vale Tudo Round-1 a couple of times before and this time, the 3rd start, finally got a girl.

It happens to me as well, I only run a couple seeds of numerous strains so i can try different stuff. Chance we take i guess, nice plants as always. :v:

-Leaf Compost

-Mushroom Compost

-Aged Pine Fines

-Perlite, Vermiculite, and Rice Hulls

-blend of crab meal, fish meal, oyster shell, kelp meal, basalt and gypsum

PH is close to 7.

I’ve got a set of seedlings started roughly the same time in the FF coco-loco I usually run and they’re twice the size of the peach-girls in the organic mix.

Will be top-dressing.

Giving these guys a chance: Commonwealth Canna.

Thanks man. It’s always a dice-roll. I’m like that too, cycling through strains. I like to smoke variety. - and although I still try, stored pollen doesn’t keep well for me. My luck there is bad.

Longtooth check out this shiatsu kush pheno, i meant to show you awhile back. Have yall ran across one that looks like this? Its a female thank god. Just flipped her, has much more narrow look than all others…

How many weeks is that? It’s branching out nicely. Doesn’t look *Kushy” atm.

Day 3 flip, all the others have been big leaf indicas. Figured this one might be unique to the others ive ran.

Thanks for the info, I have switched from peat pucks to coco fiber pucks, more friendly for seedlings, I don’t know if the organics you mentioned would be too hot as starters … icon_e_confused|nullxnull

Is the magnus opus down longtooth? Wanted to see what you though of it after harvest.

It is.

Not a big producer with the way I had her trimmed.

Very purple and crystal-frosted at finish.

-distinct and dank chocolate-ish terpene profile.

Drying and curing ATM.

Will post up some photos with a smoke report soon.

Testers have been flavorful and promising.

Cool man she looks alot like our keeper. Very nice weve ran through 25 or so all slightly diffrent. Most underated cultivar imo, pheno im puffing now has a dried berry vibe almost juniper. Plan on making a huge thread soon with all phenos etc, hopefully youll stop by. Does yours leave that intoxicating frankensince smell? All mine have a hazey burning smell

Oh that’s pretty as heck. I’ll bet it was tasty. :yum: love that Shiatsu Kush.

Ghost Train Haze from Rare Dankness at 3-weeks flowering. -Trained to within an inch of her life.

Looking good buddy i love everything you pop, never had a chance to smoke the gth. Look forward to seeing you rock this one out. That phenotype looks very haze dominant, lucky you. :v:

Here’s the Magnum Opus f11 after a bit of curing.

-Really enjoying the dankness of it. It purpled nicely at the end and was nice n frosty. I need to do a better job next time on the pruning and shaping to get a better yield but the quality of the smoke and the flower was distinct, flavorful and potent.

-Will run this one again…

Here are a few shots of the September harvest after a bit of curing:

Ironically Hazeman’s Purple Skunk wasn’t….

Whereas Katsu’s F11 of Mandlebrot’s Magnum Opus was rivaled by Dirty Bird Genetics Luna’s Wrath in the world of purple-dom

Overall happy with the results.

————————————————————

Purple Skunk from Hazeman

Grow:
Easy run. (About 70-days)
Healthy.
No real concerns.
Standard ferts (Fox Farms)
Coco Loco (Fox Farms)

Appearance:
My pheno was not purple.
Great structure.
Chunky flowers.
Frosty
Strong branches
Indica leaning appearance

Smell:
Not really skunky.
Mild compared to others

Production:
Good producer
Better than average.

Headspace - Smoke
Easy - mellow smoke
Heavier after an initially slow take.
Solid daytime or nighttime dependent on quantity ingested/smoked.

Overall Impression:
Serviceable
Solid
generic

Future Grow?:
Not likely - No objections but nothing special

Mandlebrot’s Magnum Opus F11 from Katsu

Grow:
About 70-days
Healthy.
No real concerns.
Standard ferts (Fox Farms)
Coco Loco (Fox Farms)

Appearance:
Really striking plant.
My pheno was very purple.
Great structure.
Big fan leaves - crystal covered sugar-leaves
‘Loose’ flowers with medium density
Very Frosty
Strong branches
Indica leaning Christmas-tree appearance
Needs training and shaping for optimal production

Smell:
Distinct.
Dank with vanilla-fuel undertones
Great flavor and aroma

Production:
Not a big producer
average to below average
Not strong on lateral-growth
Topping/FIM or pruning would likely help

Headspace - Smoke
Heavier. Potent.
One hit will set it but too tasty to stop there
Solid nighttime - may want to plan for delays and interactions as far as daytime-activities.

Overall Impression:
Unique and Classic
Worth the time and space for sure

Future Grow?:
Definitely
Up for future crosses - already thinking about possibilities…
Katsu is offering some interesting combos with this one - exciting

————————————————————

Luna’s Wrath from Dirty Bird Genetics

Grow:
Took her to 77-days.
Some deficiencies evident late in flower.
Would recommend going heavier on pre-flower prep.

Appearance:
Even though this is a Platinum Kush cross, the Sativa structure is strong and apparent.
Lots of lateral-growth
Spanish Moon lineage is very obvious in structure, color and leaves
Be prepared to trellis or otherwise support
Purple AF. Seriously black.
Frosty
Sativa-indica hybrid bud structure

Smell:
Very pleasant
Florid and dank-tinged sweetness
berry-fuel but not necessarily fruity or cookie-like. more dank

Production:
Average to above average.

Headspace - Smoke
Good. Verdict is still out.
Reminds me very much of Spanish Moon
Up like a Sativa but sets with a nice fuller body buzz later

Overall Impression:
Dirty Bird’s crew did Love’n in Her Eyes right with this combo.
It’s a great variant on the uniqueness of Spanish Moon
They’ve got another combo (Lover’s Moon) I’m planning to run soon

Future Grow?:
Yes. This one has a strong chance of making it back into rotation.
Tasty and pretty…the best kind!
