The Guerilla Fume looks incredible @supershitfuck. You’re now at day 53/54 - when will you harvest? A lot of SkunkVA’s seeds seemed slightly more early-harvesting than I thought they would be. Some in the low 50s if I recall. Seems like not only legit genetics but also user-friendly plants if you pay attention to your grow.

I noticed you have the Guerilla Fume plants staked. I’ve bought some packs of his recent releases and think the Twin Peaks and Road DOG (trying to figure out which to run first) could also be candidates for staking.

i’m at day 54, the whole vibe of the garden is looking not ready, i have many different strains and i have to harvest everything at the same time, and i’m thinking day 70 so 16 more days tops, that’s the one i said “rubber fire pheno” today day 54

and the other one

they don’t look ready to me, but since you said early fifties now i’m wondering, i also have 3 more that are definitely not ready, i just didn’t take pictures cause those 2 are the best looking ones, and yes these are super super vigorous and strong and easy to grow and clone, they blew up the second i transplanted 'em from puck to soil i had to cut 'em down to wait for the other strains to catch up, AND my backups are staying happy in low light, now if the smoke is good… i’m probably gonna get a backup pack

yeah they are stacked too haha, man i agonized only buying one pack of his stuff, twin peaks sounds awesome, road dog is the one that’s like the chem D right?

thanks for the tip on early harvest, skunk_va was saying he likes to cut the 91 early but i forget how early

I’d let them go a while longer; there’s still a pretty decent amount of white pistils on those flowers.

@3rd_i I had to stake the Chem Fuegos I grew last summer, no big deal. I went like three years without ever having to stake anything, but it seems like lately just about everything I grow, from every breeder, needs to be staked.

THATS THE ONE!!!

Looking like whenever harvest needs to happen these shouldn’t disappoint @supershitfuck!

I went back and looked at the descriptions of Lucky Dog’s seeds at Headie Gardens. Many have a 56-63 day flowering time. Depending on grow approaches maybe some harvesting at that low end or a bit sooner. But if you’re accommodating multiple strains with varying flowering periods, absolutely, can’t call it until those that go the longest are also ready. Interesting that the description for Chem Fuego states that it peaked at day 42 in SkunkVA’s garden. So peaked = time to harvest might not be the same day but probably not too far off the mark? 42 days seems super short though.

Road Dog is Crossroad Chem x Chem91 bx2. Crossroad Chem is a SkunkVA creation that’s Chem 91 x SFV OG Kush. Sounded like maybe a good choice if you’re looking for more of a Chem 91 experience or at least you’d think based on the genetics. Dog Patch is the Chem D crossed with the Chem 91 bx2 male. And I hear you about agonizing over how many packs to buy!

Seems like that might not be a bad trend to me @minitiger if they all stacked like @supershitfuck’s plants!

I wouldn’t say they “stacked” at all; just not the greatest structure, flimsy stems etc. I’m not complaining, just sayin’…

Typically, I add a week or two to whatever the breeder says the finishing times are. Lots of breeders will say something finishes in nine weeks when they really take ten (or longer), just because everybody’s so obsessed with quick-finishing plants. I don’t mind. In most cases, I want my plants to take as long as possible to finish.

However, in the case of the Chem Fuegos, they really woulda been done at day 63 (not sure what he said the finishing time was), but I chopped them on day 61 because of aphids. So, basically done. Again, no big deal haha.

@3rd_i yeah 63 days sounds a little closer to the “correct” harvest time, 55 days not a chance, the plan is i’m going to push everything to day 70 it just feels right, and i can still cut plants before that if needed i just don’t really want to… since my drying room is my flower room

exactly

that’s crazy, it sayd that on the back of the pack?

nice nice nice, they all sound good… all of his crosses, let us know about them!

day 55 guerilla fume

and this is the biggest one, that’s like definitely going 70 days

Yeah, that’s right, I forgot about that, that Skunk said 42 days. Mine were definitely not done at 42 days haha, but they did finish quicker than I thought they would. I figured 70 days.

That Guerilla Fume’s looking real good, but there’s still a decent amount of white pistils on them. 70 days sounds like a good idea. I mean, I know some people like some white pistils here and there, but I usually wait until most everything withers before I chop, if I can.

SEED SPECIFICATIONS

Name: Chem Fuego
Pool: (Sour Diesel x Headband) x Chemdog 91 Bx3
Brand: Lucky Dog Seed Co by skunk VA
Count: 13 pack
Process: Regular / Natural

BREEDER NOTES

The mother in this cross is a fast finishing Sour Diesel x Headband cross–she peaks fast at Day 42 in my garden. Deep sour and earthy notes followed by a balanced sweetness. Coats the mouth properly. The high can be jolting but relaxing to the body. Look for early finishers and a fair amount of stretch.

-Skunk VA, Lucky Dog Seed Co.

the mom was the fast finisher at 42 days so I suppose its possible to find something that finishes close to that out of it

70 days was the sweet spot for me on the Fume’ when I ran it for 1.5 years.

Sometimes day or two early/late but didn’t seem to make much difference to me personally.

i’m wondering what took her place  you ran one clone selected outta one pack? and yeah 70 days it is then! you advice just sealed the deal, i got other plants that have to go 70 either way, so 70 for everybody, that’s what i did last time too

Just putting it out there. I got a pk of dog patch. Goes for 160. Sealed. For a order of bodhi’s nft. Pks. Banana og×ghash, and cherry ak ×ghash. With one of the skunk hp freebies…that’s around 100 bucks. I think that’s fair…lol. good trade.

yeah bodhi also had that motorbreath x ghash sounded good, and all the chems x ghash too, i think a shitload of people possess and have grown multiple packs with that male, he crossed it to many many strains and released thousands of packs for cheap, that chem 91 bx male tho? rare shit! that’s why it’s expensive, exclusivity is good for business!

yo… i missed it i’m sure, you got pictures of the fume’? how was it?
