What a fascinating sound! So different from the usual bird that my cat didn’t even do more than twitch an ear.

I couldnt guess how many times ive been in with a flock and they fly up for roost. They are so anxious about everyone getting aloft. Thier leg tendon auto closes thier foot onto the branch as they settle down. And the sounds of complacency take over . Its tough to not take off the next morning to there to here the morning coffee with those girls. The optimism is off the hook in the turkey morning. The wild Turkey flock is Matriarchal , the call hen runs stuff.

When the flock is broken , the call hen sacrifices her position to call loudly and without stop until the nearer members start assembling. Usually within the hour. Before they forget each other. Within one day the flock moves on.

I’m doing well!

Croptober has me begging for mercy. I’m helping my cop neighbor harvest his freaking 7’ tall haze. It’s too much weed for the Cannatrol.

Thanks for thinking of me! I had to log in real quick and get the coop box taken care of before Gpas whips me.

Back out to finish putting the summer garden to bed before too much frost turns everything to goo.

Ooo at least if your processing birds you guys have a tumbler? That was one of the best damn things we bought vs the blanch and pull method.

We do not. :frowning: one of these days I’ll get proper butchering equipment. I’ve looked into renting equipment, but it’s not been in my cards.

Fucked up my car on a deer so I got to spend some time tending to the ladies.

Hope you’re okay. It’s bad this time of year as mating season gets into full swing. My wife works overnight and drives into work in the dark. We’ve been very lucky with just a few close calls but her friend just totalled her Honda in a deer hit last week.

I’m fine, a little bit of burn from the air bags on my legs.

The deer was huge. He sauntered right into the road state rt. 58 for you Lovers.

Man, even if you ate him that would be one expensive deer. Very glad you’re okay!

Car is finally squared away. Got an insurance check to go truck shopping with. Looking at a '21 Tacoma tomorrow hopefully.

The g13hp ladies have a great smell but small buds. Hoping they stack up a bit more.

Dumpster clone from another OGer is finally getting roots and starting to grow.
