Makin' Biscuits Outdoors

He finally was carried off by ants. Which, I have a lot of ants on my summer squash, which I guess doesn’t matter? They aren’t farming aphids so I guess I don’t care.

Did water today, everyone was thirsty. Last time I will use Jack’s bloom. Going back to maxibloom until the last couple weeks, I plan to use Jacks finish.

ACC durban looking leggy :leg:. These sativas know how to stretch.

Northern lights #2 is a sleeper. I bet I get my socks knocked off when she starts putting on buds.

Chernobyl is chilling.

And the baby WMBK are looking pleased. I added an air stone, the 3 by the pump look better and I think it’s an O2 issue. Idk. I have plenty of air stones so why not.

Two ZEs are in water to go in a bottom water planter outside. G13hp seeds came today! Im exited to grow them soon.

The outside plants are stressing me. One fell off the deck, which if you are keeping count, is the 2nd time. The Indiana Bubblegum looks big mad all round. Next time I’ll grow her inside and see if she likes it better. The Autos are doing nice. Smaller than maybe usual but it’s been unusually hot and dry the past month. Their little pompom flowers are precious :two_hearts: Might get pics later when I water. Lots of lessons learned this year. I know I will be prepping in ground beds next year.

What a beautiful plant! I’m ready for her to show some buds. It’s been just over 3 weeks and I’m impatient!

I did not look at the anatomy right on this at first.

It looks like the cat is getting sat on, then I saw their noses and realized I was looking at tiddies, not bent legs. Lort.

Today is my spouse’s birthday and he wanted some high THC dispo weed. He ends up getting Animal Face and it’s reported at 27% THC.

Y’all. It’s like someone dunked cardboard in lemon juice and the high is for one second. I know I can be very critical of the GSC lines but here I am again. I’m not mad I’m just disappointed, and only half stoned which is doubly disappointing.

He seems to like it, so that’s perfectly fantastic. I’m not going to kill his buzz. I’m just reminded how thankful I am for OG and all the absolutely amazing plants I’ve been gifted.

It’s my last day of 39 and 19 year old me would be very impressed with how Im living at 40.

Happy happy birthday @AppalachianBiscuits! Hope you have a great one.

19 year old me is looking at me in disgust for not growing 1000 plants. 19 year old me is a straight up asshole though. Who cares what he thinks :joy:

I’m in with @Coffin_Dodger. My 19 year old self would be more than a little astounded.

In 1969, I was in the throes of a $100/day meth habit. I doubt I would have believed I would live this long. It’s what I blame primarily for my lack of dentition.

Made it outside today! Outside weed is so different for me. I do think I will continue to grow outside next year. We will see if I have the same tune after harvest.

I could use some advice on pollen. I’ve read a lot of others’ threads on collecting pollen and here is my plan.

I have this gentleman

I am going to make a trip to the DoGen and get some desiccant and a metal bowl. I plan to shake him like a Polaroid over the bowl, scrape up the pollen and put it in a Tupperware with desiccant. I want to scrape it onto a piece of paper, fold the paper, then put it inin the Tupperware, as long as the paper won’t mess something up.

Then I’d like to put it in these paper pouches and seal the pouches in mylar with a desiccant pack.

My plans are to fuck around and see what happens. I have a couple Durban clones, some WMBK babies that I will pollinate one.

End goal here is to make an increase of these

Thoughts? Opinions? Snide remarks?

Spread out the pollen to dry for a couple days before it gets clumped together. And send me some to!
