The TS1000 is perfect for new grower because
A. It is low budget while still being able to replace a typical 250w HID
B. It is full spectrum which is necessary and dimmable, which is not usually included with a budget light
C. It is suitable for all kinds of plants, but most importantly cannabis (due to being on OG!)
D. It is perfect for a first grow of 1 or 2 plants, and it is possible to daisy chain together whenever the grower wants to or feels more comfortable to grow more plants!
(Hint: I am that beginner grower needing a light like this)

Ain’t nothing wrong with TS1000 lights.
I used one. Got a nice small harvest. Added another TS1000 and that really increased the yield substantial.
Then I bought a FC E4800. THAT was MY game changer.
I still use my trusty TS1000’s for my veg tent and cloning.
@MarsHydro really rocks. Great light kits. If you have a 2 X 4 tent, look no further than the MH SP3000. Frickin’ PERFECT! I shit you not.

I STILL have my Mars Hydro Reflector 48 as a back-up for my backups!

You must be an old friend of Mars, the non-dimming TS1000 we have not sold for a long time. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

The Christmas holiday is coming. Do you plan to go on vacation but don’t know how to arrange the growing at home?

If you don’t turn on the lights, you worry about slow growth, but if you keep turning on the lights, you worry about excessive light.

Now use marshydro’s newly launched smart power strips, even if you are away on vacation, you can control the growing system at home very well.

Come and make and implement your growing plan!

A while back, a power outage occurred while I was away from home and it threw off my timing.
I got to thinking that a built in fail safe would be a great thing. I know I’m good now but a lot of folks may not have a backup generator like I have.
Anyway.
How hard would it be to put a system on a light that would automatically take over in case of an outage. It could turn the lights down to whatever percentage output you want. Lower would last longer… growers choice.

The rechargeable battery could be put inline with a small smart box controller.

I was just wondering if you thought it might be doable.
Thanks.

Happy New Year :slightly_smiling_face:
I understand that you are trying to keep the grow lights working after a power outage. Good idea.
One thing to note is that the wattage of the led grow light is much bigger than the wattage of a regular light. It requires a lot of backup power. If you dim the grow light to 10%, the weak light will not do much for the plants.
So having a generator like you do is the best option. :cowboy_hat_face:

Mars Hydro hopes to bring you a happy grow life ! Happy grow and harvest in 2023 every one ! :cowboy_hat_face:

Would you buy a kit if you were not new to growing? :cowboy_hat_face:

Unlikely. But I suppose if the price was right.
I’m the type of person that does extensive research on products and pricing. So everything would have to fit.

Generally, the price of the set will be cheaper than buying them individually. But the selection is limited.

Yeah, but the the amount is usually marginal. And most generally do not need everything in the kit.
