Rw allards principles of plant breeding is excellent. More advanced would be bos and caligariās selection methods in plant breeding. Very parochial would be mj botany. Mostly all the cannabis work is fairly parochial and you will need to dig into more meaningful texts not puked out by stoners.

Well you get a sliver of a slice of the trichome head to store whatever the plant is and will ever be. Its a physical measurement and an extremely important factor. You can lie your ass off about cannabinoid profiles but you can not lie about the size of that resin head. It is an all important factor that is more or less being hidden or simply not understood by most folk.

So despite other factors Trich size and development should be the primary concern for selections?
I wish. That is another dream scenario that has no bases in fact. You have to smoke them, there is no short cuts.

Yes, trichome field density, trichome head size, and cannabinoid profile are the top 3 factors that anybody should be concerned with in my opinion.

The only thing they can lie about is cannabinoid profile. Look at plants from this perspective always.

Takes forever man. Better is reverse breeding double haploid breeding while stopping crossovers. Take an elite clone then breed it backwards by reproducing the parents. Then you have clones from seed, and every advantage that goes along with that.

Iām not a 100% sure I know a physical measurement can be used in physics. But that would fall more into the scope of biology. I may be wrong though been a while.
You have x amount of space. This is determined by trichome field density x head diameter. And this is filled with y. I dont know man, kinda feels like physics to me.

I thought it was more non observable in nature but Iām not a scientist. Probably a subfield that puts it in there I guess. This feels weird to debate but Iām highā¦. Iām out of here if I ever meet a physics major Iāll let you know.
