Please do! I woke up this morning and read your comments and then found your ICMag posts back to 2009 about PPK and it’s a very interesting system. I’m still working my way through the old threads but I’d love to see you post a topic here with your latest techniques and lessons from using it over the years. I think you’d find a lot of interest in folks on OG about a well-iterated older passive system, tons of folks are using the Earthboxes and homemade SIPs of all sorts with various techniques and mediums, toss your hat in the ring!

i don’t usually cross-link sites unless it’s ok with the management but since you did here is the thread with the most info.

anything older than this is obsolete.

the flow pattern is the same i just found easier or better ways to build.

i have about 6 weeks to the end of this grow and then i’ll start the thread.

i have armed myself with an anti-troll mind shield for eye sore mag but i don’t think i’ll need it here. seems like a nice bunch of folks here!

LOL, yeah, trolls are rare in these parts…
I think the mods use them for fertiliser…

It’s totally fine to cross-link here on Overgrow, no rules against it, though I think it’s generally considered best to find a source here first to link to. That said, OG 2.0 just doesn’t have the archives and user base that sites like ICMag, RIU, or the Farm do, and lots of users come here from those sites or maintain presences there too, so out-linking or cross-linking is unavoidable. I never joined another site before this but reading them it’s weird to me how people have learned a whole way of saying things to not catch a ban, including sending people to other sites to answer their questions in a very indirect way instead of feeling able to just drop a link in the discussion.

yes, i think the censorship practiced on some sites only detracts from their image and prestige.

the mag was a great place for many years. i joined in 2006 after the original overgrow shutdown.

but now, it is full of trolls.

we are trying to have a discussion about leds and bud quality over there right now and nobody can make any kind of statement without defending it against “experts”.

they have a join date from last week and are still in a bedroom at mommy’s house!

Hes got enough light to grow buds on the floor. He can keep those lower nugs on if they get some light penetration and airflow.

Do you credit cannabis with keeping the cancer from coming back? And if so… any tips on types to use & ingestion methods. Thanks! And congrats on beating cancer :+1:  @delta9nxs

i was diagnosed terminal with hepatocellular carcinoma back in 2005. they said 6 months and they did a stalling maneuver that consisted of going up through the femoral artery to the liver and poisoning the tumor with an injection. then they went back in with a laser and burnt off the blood supplies.

i got lucky and this stalled the tumor until 2009 when i got the transplant. they took the tumor out with the old liver.

i credit cannabis with keeping me right mentally and physically. a good attitude and diet and exercise are important.

i am a daily heavy user and never slowed down during this whole period.

i eat caps made from distillate, both thc and cbd. very heavy doses. in coconut oil.

I go by the rso guidelines. But the more the merrier since cannabis is not lethal to ingest as far as human history has known. Its the safest substance known to man kind.

The rso guidelines are to consume 60g of high thc cannabis oil within 90 days or less to kill the cancer. For preventive maintenance a suggested dosage of 3g per month or 100mg per day. Lots of variables but this is the backbone to the knowledge I have. Successfully wiped out 4 terminal cancers in our uncle and helped several others significantly manage or reduce their cancer. I beleive in the power of high thc cannabis oil to kill cancer, but I also believe that you have to address whats causing it and alleviate that too.

Phew! Alright 60g in 90 days and then 100mg/day is going to be expensive & keep her pretty damn high but I’ll see if I can talk her into it. Thanks @Josh_Blue !

I know the darn black market which is part of what dazzled me as a kid to get rich, makes it expensive with these stupid laws.

Hopefully your in an area where you can grow your own legally. 1lb of high quality thc drug type cannabis is about all it takes to get 60g. Retail thru dispensaries, id hate to know the price. Maybe a caregiver can make it for you for cheap to reasonable.

If your in Michigan, give me a shout and we can figure something out for ya.

Also when I build a program for people I build tolerance slowly to adjust to the high. So typically i start newbies out on 5mg, one durring the day and 2 at night to sleep off most of the high. Adjust as needed of course. So you can do the same thing with the 100mg. Eat 10mg thru the day and the larger dose at night to sleep off. Theres also the suppository route where your not supposed to get high as much but i haven’t done those.

so, i see i forgot to explain my name change in the middle of a thread.

i found that a bunch of the asst. passwords i’ve used over the years have gotten into the hands of advertisers and they have been connected to delta9nxs.

nothing sinister, just nosy bastards trying to sell stuff. i’m sure all of our communications are being used to hit us with targeted ads.

my thanks again to everyone!

yesterday was the end of week 5 flowering.

plant A is getting all 2700k light.

still, no solution removed from the system ever in the life of this plant. input only.

plant B is getting 2/3 2700k and 1/3 5000k

no solution removed from this one either.

we are at the end of week 6 of flower.

plumping up and a little purple going on. beautiful aroma. powerful blueberry aroma and very sticky to the touch.

still have not removed any solution.

for me the interesting thing about this is that all inputs are still in the system somewhere.

all of the nutrients, worm castings, DE, fulvic compound, and kelp are either in the plant, the medium, or the solution.

ph is holding steady around 5.8-6.0 and solution strength around ec2.
