Nice choice! Excited to see of there’s any phenos with pink stigmas
It sucks for me tho, I just tried to pop about 25 seeds from RSC of their Afghan mix hoping to get a decent Mazar and only 2 made it to seedlings. Most didn’t even germ
I ordered from them in May still haven received anything, I emailed them and they said takes up to 5 weeks and I should have gotten an email confirmation. I never received any confirmation email, so they resent them, guess we’ll see.
These are looking fantastic. Im taging along for the ride
Im starting to think I have two girls and three boys , we will see. If that is the case I will least vigorous male and breed each of the other to one of the females. That would give me two different sets of seeds that are pure Mazar but slightly different parental combinations.
Want another try? Happy to see them grown
@Heritagefarms
I would.k3ep all the males and let them do an open pollination. You might need to have the diversity later on.
@Heritagefarms any new photos?
You could do 2 different branches with different males on both females. Then you would be able to find the best combination.
The one for sure female
The two males that are already growing balls
There outside in the shade in 3 gallon pots to intentionally restrict there size, there also taking forever to go into flower compared to other strains this time of year.
Well here we are in September and these Mazar are just starting to enter flower, all my other non landrace strains looked like this mid august.
The little 12” og plant that has a least 50 beans on it from the mazar males, should be plenty to find a good male for a backcross on the og
On a side note have any of you seen another strain that has such a sharp pronounced zig zag pattern to the main stock
( see center of photo)
Bad ass looking plant. Such a cool pattern.
It’s like the zig zag is a little home for each nug to fit in
Bud top with a balcony …
Tighter node spacing than your typical OG.
I don’t know that I’ve ever seen that pattern before but I like it! It’ll be cool to see how that fills in
She fills in rather well @Indoornesian the best stacking I’ve seen from a pure og. Most wouldn’t recognize her as a og kush plant till they smoked her
Here is a plant from last year
The Mazar are harvested in November/December in Afghanistan. You are a couple degrees latitude South and would harvest outdoors at the middle/ end of November most likely if you had the weather. Will you bring the lady indoors to finish?
Interesting zigzag pattern. Like Thai and Nepalese strains. Neat.
