MBV’s Cannagar Tutorial/Discussion

You know, I was thinking about using the vacuum sealer. LMK how that works. I was only afraid that it might hold in the moisture but looks like you solved it with the absorbent wrap inside. Good idea.

Interesting. That I never thought of doing.

Everything was dry, so no worries about moisture. The parchment is just to keep it from sticking to the plastic. :+1::seedling:

Maybe just overthinking as usual and I have used leaves that we’re not completely cured but will be doing that now. :+1::pray:t2:

I dried these between the pages of a magazine. It worked surprisingly well.

I use newspaper but it does make them crispy if left too long then need to lightly spray them to be flexible. Would glossy paper like magazines work better in your opinion?

Not sure, this was a first for me.

If it makes you more comfortable with your method, tobacco is normally wet again after its initial drying.

I need to get another humidor for the canna side. I keep my cigar humi stabil and they age well but didnt want to put the cannagars in there as I wasn’t sure if they would take on the cigar flavors.

Managed to get the hookup to get one printed. If anyone EU side needs one gimme a shout wayyyy cheaper than hiring a company to print it out. Will be testing it out later today but seems perfect size super smooth super tight should make me a winner :muscle:

Thingiverse has a couple of designs. Did you use one of those?

Yes I did. Being in the UK or Europe for that matter it would have cost me a minimum of about £60 to have one printed here or shipped from murica. Think it was @MadScientist who put the link to it somewhere above and one of my family recently bought a 3D printer so for him to do it for me vs these companies “renting” their printers it was wayyy cheaper and more practical I had mine within 24 hours of him getting his printer

Very good job. I was wondering where to get the wood tips but haven’t found them locally.
