MBV’s Cannagar Tutorial/Discussion

Well I guess I cheated by using curing weed cos it seems to of stuck better than last time and it’s only been left overnight

I put it back in the mold after this shot to compact it a little more gunna leave it another day before wrapping it with some leaves I saved in the freezer

Let me know how that works out. A lot of veggies turn to mush in the freezer.

Agreed here. I usually freezer cure before making an RSO for that reason. Just crumbles when you pull it out.

How do you ferment the fan leaves, and how many vegans do you need use, to make the glue  :smirk:

No no no, it’s not made from vegans, it’s made by vegans in a special gland that protrudes from their abdomen.

Unfortunately, we can only use the hooves of the vegans to make the glue. As such it takes approximately 3 1/2 vegans to make each bottle.

Yeh I took fresh leaves off the plant. The freezer leaves could of been used but they stunk of literally rotting veg.

This one shaped way quicker and was a lot easier to wrap.

Yeah, I put them in my freezer before feeding them to my worms to soften them up. Maybe if they were dried/cured before freezing it would work?

Yeh possibly but I think the easy alternative is to just use fresh leaf, isn’t great as they will carry some flavour but I find it super easy to use them when they’re fresh.

God I love this site! There is a plethora of information here. ←See what I did there. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:Trying to make myself look smart.
Here’s my little creation. Used a 26 gauge mold that I bought off ebl-ay. I honestly gave up on wrapping with the leaves. All I had was little leaves to use. This thing is hard as a rock. .400" in diameter 2.5" long and weighs 4.3g after we smoked some of it.

you got bb’s in there? I roll 'rm like that in one paper and it only takes about a gram

Edit: perhaps give us something else for scale. It doesn’t appear much bigger than normal to me.

If it is packed tight in a mold then it is deceivingly heavy

if you pack it tight how you gonna pull thru it?

That’s what the skewer is for to leave a draw area then removed to smoke.

yeah…it’s not visible tho. and not the way a real cigar works. I dunno about this mold thing. They use a mold to roll cigars? I don’t think so. That part has been bothering me from the start. That and no one wants to cure the leaf like a real cigar.

Ya the effort and time involved to do it the same way as a cigar would eliminate most from even trying.

@MadScientist those look great, what was your process for curing the leaf to wrap cores?

I flatten them with a kitchen roller, to squeeze excess moisture. Once flat and semi-dry i put them inside a thick book and leave them there until i need to use them, most of them are totally dry and workable when i grab them from the book, some get mold some over dry, but i choose them real carefully and then glue them together with home made glue.

The already wrapped cannagar is put back into the press in order to allow the glue to dry and also to keep pressure on the fan leaves to avoid any peeling off… After that i let them cure in a cherry oak box with a boveda pack at 58% RH.

They are the SHIT!!!
