Medicinal use of Cannabis in East Africa

My dad captained a 747, and did many trips to Africa. One day an African stewardess, Most likely after hearing some talk related to the matter, gave my father a container of some ground up red pepper of some sort, pointed to his member, and said " Strong like bull" while "making muscles":muscle::rofl:
@Kidete ever hear anything about this special pecker, er, a, I mean, pepper?:hot_pepper:

I’ve heard about spices and pepper aphrodisiacs. They’re common among the swahili-Arab community found in coastal Kenya

Welcome to the OG community @Kidete :raising_hand_woman:t3:

Using a basin with cannabis for measles makes sense to me, There would be open sores and it would be easier to absorb wouldn’t it?

Thank you for the knowledge @Kidete ! Between all users (medical and recreational), how is cannabis typically smoked in Kenya?

The leaves are chewed, causing a numbing effect. I’m curious to know which landrace is used. Til you told me otherwise, I thought Malawi had only one.
There are at least 3, is that right?

99% of the time, people are smoking joints. Consumers in urban areas like Nairobi or Mombasa use a variety of accessories available in smoke shops

Yes it does and it’s a culture that’s been practiced for decades

I agree but it might be a specific community that’s using Malawi Gold for medical use, just like how in Kenya it’s only a small community that’s using the landrace strains to treat asthma, malaria and measles

I just wanted to say I appreciate you both @Upstate and @Kidete for opening this thread. I’m very interested to know more about the traditional ways of using cannabis as medicine, so I guess I will be keeping my eyes on this one!
