So far I have topped all of the photos and the Fems Holy Punch and Kushage so far. I’m waiting about 6 more inches on the rest.
They look pretty close to me!
Day or two? Or like a week? I suck at judging
I think you are at that point of preference now. I see mostly cloudy trichomes, in a week she should be more sedative like you prefer.
I think the last one looks the most cloudy. Maybe I’ll give them all until Monday or Tuesday
So, I took down @Mr.Sparkle Da Green. It is a really weird plant. I’m not having very good luck with any the seeds. Every one of them has been some sort of mutant. This one looked normal even through most of bud then it got weird. The bud itself looks like seed pods. It’s not, but that’s what it looks like. I will probably take down one of the Blue Dreams a little later then the last 2 budders tmw. I think from now on, since I had to pull out a bunch of plants in the veggie patch due to pm, I will plant any of sparkles phenos directly in the soil in case they are more mutants so I don’t waste my expensive container soil if I have to pull them or they end up getting weird in bud. And his autos don’t seem to take up so much space. I have to admit I am kind of jealous looking at other threads where his plants are growing normally for you guys. Not sure if I just got a bad batch or what. The ratio of mutants in my pack so far has been 100%.
The autos from @MomOnTheRun are gonna be big. I also have I think 2 more Blue Dream auto seeds I can pop that will give decent yields. I’m having fun with sparkles seeds but I need some actual substance here for Dad medicinally. So I need a few more seeds planted that I know are gonna perform. I’m running out of stash and in a hurry now and November is a long ways from now.
Been paranoid about going in my garden since spending the night before last, first in the urgent care then the Emergency room from a black widow spider bite. No more working in my garden in flip flops and shorts anymore. Bums me out as Mother Nature just turned on the summer heat about 3 days ago and we are close to 80 degrees in the day suddenly. The antibiotics have finally kicked in thank dog and my leg isn’t swollen and fire hot today at least although the bite looks super gnarly like a big gaping open wound now. It stopped hurting, but it’s ugly. Gonna be a big scar.
I’m wondering if it’s just something about the particular environment in your area that they are not liking.
I’m not sure what. I’m in Southern California. Growing conditions seriously don’t get better than this. And my purchased seeds are doing just fine. I think I may have gotten an immature pack of seeds from Sparkle maybe. Either that or his autos hate the outdoors. lol
1 of the blue dreams is down now. Tmw I will harvest the 2nd blue dream and the Jamaican Haze. A bit of caterpiller damage on all of them so far. Just how it rolls when you grow outdoors. However, I am gonna start a BT regimen on all the veggers either tmw or the next day depending on how much unchlorinated water I have left tmw after watering the vegging autos.
All 3 of the seeds I planted on Thursday have germed. 2 The Fuzz and the final CO Cookies. The CO Cookies and the Candy Dawg @MomOnTheRun sent were marked XXL I have high hopes for the yield once these are done. They already have some big leaves for babies.
The final Dark Spark in the veggie patch is budding along with the Easy D’s now. I can tell these will be small plants. Everything else out there, regs and fems are going ape shit and getting big! May the 4 photos be girl children! Cuz all 4 of those plants are gorgeous and I really really want to smoke the DBHP for some reason. Something about the red sap just interests me.
The row of fems… the one in the front is the Kushage. It’s a monster. I thought the og skunk would be the giant. It’s still early though
All of the plants range from 4 - 4 1/2 feet now even after topping most of them. Except the Strawberry Diesels they started later and the Good Shit that had it’s really rough start. I’m thinking the DBHP and SSDD are gonna hit 5 feet in the next week or so. DBHP is also a complete monster. Just a very large structure, fat around and tall. The SSDD is a skinnier plant but taller and the Jungle Spice is bushy and short. Cherry Berry White looks fairly normal to me. Just a nicely growing plant. Good proportionally.
One of my heros
oes? dan quayle moment
Yikes!!! Glad you are okay.
Thanks! Yeah that was a whole lot of fun. NOT
They are productive…I with I ran the Co Cookies in a 3 gallon instead of the 1/2 gallon pot though still received a decent yield
I got 1 bud out of it and my daughter took the rest though thats ok when I run her again it’ll be in a 3 gallon. My Candy Dawg is close to finishing now…she was doing awesome until I put her in my windowsill at the start of her stretch - and stretch she did It didn’t help that 3 wks later, I put her outside when night time temps were still dropping to the mid 40’s…mother nature has been caring for her since with an occasional drench from my boys that feel sorry for her
All in all she is taking the abuse like a champ and will run her again when I have more room
Both strains have done very well for most in the Vaults Comparative grows
Fingers crossed! If I had the money I would do the sex test Sebring did with the SSDD’s though since I don’t, I would clone then once roots have formed in 2-3 wks, sex them but then they are all looking mighty pretty filling in…they’ll show sex soon enough
Count on it with DBHP… 1st round: 12/12 at 3’ tall and reached 7’ 2nd round: 12/12 at 14" tall and reached just over 4’ - I can only imagine outside.
In my experience most autos hate california growing conditions, our photoperiod is different than europe and most of the continental united states. My autos did the same thing when I grew them in San Francisco. In sf and southern california most photoperiod plants flower whenever they reach maturity, not seasonally.
whatever creates this effect seems to play havoc with the autoflowering genetics. I doubt it’s anything to do with your care of the plants.
I’m not sure if it’s chill to post links to other forums, so I’ll message you a link to an experienced southern california grower on another site who has a lot of tips and tricks for dealing with the unique photoperiod and other factors specific to southern california.
@zephyr
Can you PM the info to me as well. Always nice to have a reference close by for when I inevitably screw something up.
@zephyr A lot of annual plants act as perennials here as it’s extremely rare that we get frost. My guess this has something to do with it. Although all of my other plants are doing fine including other autos I have out there that aren’t sparkles seeds
