Hi, questions, other than lower yield, is it ok to go 12/12 with autos? Or it’s possible to say, not worth it? I always hear best ones are 20/4 and never much lower than 18/6 LOL! Thanks!

@abbnian I would definitely say not worth it. I just threw a couple in the back corner of my room just to see what would happen. Wasn’t a very good turnout and pretty sure you would be disappointed

That and the freebies. It drops the $/seed drastically. Otherwise mephisto seeds are pretty expensive.

They are going to be closed for a while though, according to the email they sent out, so the seed banks might be the only way to snag something for a little bit. I have only ordered from them directly so I would be super disappointed! Lol

I run a lot of autos under 12/12 and I have decent buds ( dense, etc.) - i dare say that i might get a little less bud than if i run them at 18/6 or 20/4. But im happy with keeping them in 12/12 beside whatever regs im running.!

I have had small autos too but none of the Mephisto seeds iv ran on a 12/12 schedule ( lots over time.) have been bad yielding or crap potency, etc.!
@Abbbian the best way to find out for sure ,is to run one or two on a 12/12 schedule and see for yourself .?!

I dont know for sure but I know a lot of bigtime breeders have small to medium grows and let’s not forget that’s to service the world’s demand. Like for instance jinx proof genetics if im correct only uses a 4x4 to make seeds. So it would take months to re up the stock.
