Micro Grow Experiment

Thanks for dropping by newgrower. Congrats on the new hobby which will probably last a lifetime. All the best.

I’m pretty new to harvesting so wanted some advice. Here is a pic of the top cola of next in line. I prefer zero body stone - all head high as much as possible.

Can i judge the ripeness of the buds based on the quality of the pics like taken above

What vital harvest information can be observed in the photo…??

Should i wait or stick a fork in her…?? @ReikoX

Glad to have ya on OG @okletsgrow one thing Iv noticed is that your plants could use a larger pot it will help tremendously I like doing things on a budget myself outside of that a good light source is important any chance you can grow next to a south facing window? Nothing beat the good old sunlight ? Try moving it outdoors for fresh air and light .

I would wait. First off, the pistils have not begun to receed yet, that usually happens before a cylax swell. Without seeing the rest of the plant, I cannot tell if she has begun senescence, but that would be signified by autumn coloring in the leaves and a slow in the uptake of water/nutrients…

Zooming in on the photo I was able to see about a 50:50 mix of clear and cloudy trichomes. I also saw a fungus gnat stuck in the bud. :mosquito:

For what my input is worth I am by no means an expert or even at time I think competent but I have been at this a while now and have learned a few things we all want to grow fire and it is disappointing when we don’t I started much like yourself on an extreme budget and cannabis will grow anywhere under almost any conditions but growing dank takes time knowledge and investment there are things that you need light being top of the list figuring ou your style your medium and method the nutes you use or don’t use genetics all are huge my advice is keep at it upgrade when you can learn as much as you can and never give up

Thanks for the warm welcome here @Tinytuttle.

Growing micro in almost a cabinet like setup. Larger pots will decrease the number of plants i can accomodate.

Theme of my experiment is to use as little and get as much out of it. Definitely on a budget.

Stealth would be compromised.

Trying to grow indoor fully.

Can vouch for the slow uptake of water & nutes.

So i am aiming for 100% milky to harvest according to my preferred taste.

Yeah. Actually 2 of them. One at 10oclock & the other at 12oclock position.

Seeing the whole plant, I would wait a week and check again.

@ReikoX Thank you for recommending patience when i had none.
