Minnesota Grow show. Dynasty Genetics

Got the 3 sour diesel clones today. Wasn’t expecting rooted clones so that was a nice surprise. One of the clones main stem was broken over so I made a splint out of a toothpick and micropore tape. There was 1 node below the break so I should be OK even if I do lose the top. Taking a break from setting up the new 4x4 gorilla tent. 4x4s are a Pain in a ass by yourself lol.

The mt hood huckleberries and bohdi plants are starting to sex, 2 of the 3 huckleberries are male and 1 that hasn’t shown anything yet. 1 of the 2 Eurekas is a male 1 hasn’t shown. More Cowbell has no signs yet.

Going to try something different this flower cycle. Doing 6 weeks of 12/12, 2 weeks of 11/13 and then 10/14 for whatever time left ot takes to finish.

Veg tent, looking like all non clones are tir ing out to be males lol. Down to the 1 more cowbell and 1 Mt hood huckleberry that still have a chance.

Probably a dumb question but I have never dealt with keeping mothers mainly becaise my cloning has sucked but also because i hage so many strains i want to grow out. So I have my 5 Cough clones that are at the point to be flowered. If I wanted to keep this plant around do I just keep one in a veg state forever or do I just take clones from these 5 plants and flower them all and grow up the new clones and repeat?

Keeping one around in veg state is an option, especially if you know you suck at cloning.

I’d suggest to take clones. Put all 5 plants to bloom. In 7 days check for roots on clones, if not getting any cut a few more clones from the bottom of the blooming plants.

Used to do minimum 4 clones per strain when confidence was low in cloning. Now do 2 minimum.

Yeah I would probably just wait till the clones showed roots before flowering. My last try at cloning had 100% success with roots within 1 week so I think I finally found a way that works for me lol.

New flower tent .

Did not realize how big the one cough was untill im carring it through my house bent over like the hunchback of notre dam trying not to break the branches on door entries. Only to later break a couple stems on the big girl trying to put in a scrog screen. Taped and wired to hopefully save them, the main stem broke in 2 places.
Cafe racer in the hempy still chugging along.

Did some veg tent work today. Took 8 clones from my Cough plants. Transplanted 2 into ac infinity grow bags with 5tbsp of osmocote plus. Going to use the ac infinity self watering base again. Plant on alternating feeding watering with a watering of recharge in-between and using the osmocote as a buffer fert. Worked well on my kali graprefruits a couple grows ago. Leaving 1 of the in the 1 gallon smart pot also using the ac infinity self watering base. Says it only works with 3 and 5 gallon bags so we will see. The next flower tent will be 4 of the forst Cough clones 1 in a 1 gallon smart pot, 2 in a 5 gallon ac infinity fabric pot(1 is topped one is not) and 1 in a octopot. A little test to see different outcomes from different grow styles. Mainly to see the difference between the 1 gallon 5 gallon fabric pot yields as we know the octo is going to blow the both of them out the water.

The sour d clones are looking rough, hopefully they pull through.
Removed all the males and left 1 mt hood huckleberry and 1 Eureka that look like they are probably males too bit not comoletely sure, still very small preflower. PUCK seedlings still doing seedling things.

The main stem looks like it’s going to make it, not wilting or anything that would make me think it’s dying off after the severe double stem snap. For perspective on plant size the top of that plant on the left is sitting at 5’10"
In the veg tent The mt hood huckleberry and Eureka are still giving me hope of female. No white hairs but the preflowers are elongated instead of ball shaped. New growth on all 3 sour d clones. So things are looking good.

What do you all think male or female?

No hairs but a elongated preflower that have . Normally males have more ball shaped preflowers on a stem.
Also anyone use uvb supplemental lighting? I bought a fixture from California lightworks and it seems like there’s no consensus on how to use it. Some say the entore grow, some say 1 to 2 hours at the peak of your lighting schedule for the last few weeks. Some say only on for 15-20 min increments per hour. Right now I’m planing on adding at the 2nd stage of my flower schedule at week 7 starting with 15 mins on per hour for 3 hours in the middle of the light period for a total of 45 mins of exposure, week 8 up to 30 mins per hour for a total of 1.5 hours of exposure, week 9 keeping it at 30 mins per hour but adding a 4th hour period for a total of 2 hours exposure and holding that till finish.

Been growing off and on for over 15 years and not once have I ever had powdery mildue. The 1 time I buy clones and what do I get, fucking powdery fucking mildue. Never again will I ever bring a clone or plant into my grow.

Good news is the 1 dynasty Genetics Mt Hood Huckleberry looks like it’s a female, finally found a single hair coming from one of the preflowers.

The Cough has a great smell to it doing a leaf rub. Im guessing a incense smell, im bad a picking out smells, reminds me of the old school head shop smell.

Starting week 5 of flower the left cough could have filled up this tent by itself with proper training and a net, huge plant. Branches are just falling down, really wish i was able to get that screen in. The cafe racer is alot smaller but stsrting to stack up. To give a reference for size the 2 tallest stalks of the plants are at 6ft.

Flipped the other 4x4 tent to 12/12 along with a heavy defoliation.

Got roots showing on 2 of my Mt Hood Huckleberry F5 clones. Tossed 2 of my cough rooted clones due to signs of PM, still have 2 left and will be selecting the best one to save as a mom.

All of the mt hood clones took root. Glad to have finally gotten a clone process that works for me. Plan on taking clones fromnthe sour D plants this weekend.
Day 45 and the big cough is falling all over the place, having to tie branches up to the top fram of the tent. The right side cough hasnt looked good all flower, considerably smaller buds, curled leaves thay look like nitrogen toxicity which is wierd because it gets the same nute solution as the other one which is thriving. I will probably end up jist saving the tops and washing the rest for bubblehash. I got no time for small larffy buds. Wishing i took a clone of the cafe racer, solid structure plant that producing some solid buds. Fisrt weekend october will be 10 weeks from flip and what im guessing these will go to. Added pk boost this week and will continue untill day 55 when i will switch to plain water to finish.

Day 10 of flower in the 2nd tent, everything looking good.

Main flower tent day 48. If you grow the Vough BX3 just remember the stretch is real and needs to be accounted for with staking or nets, this thing is falling all over the place.

2nd flower tent day 14, will plan on defoliate tonight or tomorrow

Veg tent, back row are the Sour D clones. middle row are the pucks, looks like probably all 3 are females. No hairs yet but elongated preflowers. 2 Cough clones front left and 5 mt hood huckleberry f5 clones front right. Going to to give them another week before picking the best one of each to keep as a mom. Also plan on poping some Lucky Dog Seeds Chem Fuegos next weekend.

So i have been thinking of switching to air-pots over the smart pots and was wondering if i ran a wicks into the bottom of the airpot base that i would still be able to use the self watering bases . Also would be nice to not have to water every other day which it sounds like you need to do with airpots drying out so fast. Anyone have any experience running a wicking system with airpots?

Day 24 of flower in 2nd tent. Filling up nicely.

Back row AJ sour Diesel. Big plants.

Middle row Puck BC3. 1 confirmed female and the other 2 dont have hairs but have long elongated preflowers so thinking all 3 are female.

Left 2 are cough clones and right 5 are huckleberry kush clones. Ordered some airpots and will be moving 1 of each to those for a mother plant l
While disgaurding the others. Will also take clones from the sour D and puck plants. The 3 spur D and puck plants will be put into flower once the main tent os finished.

Main tent. Planning on harvest next weekend which would put them at 10 weeks. The right cough is getting turned into fresh frozen bubble hash as it didnt turn out nearly as nice as the left plant(thankfully my clones are from the left plant)
and i dont got time for trimming sub par plants.
