Your climate is different too, it’s warmer there so less fungal activity in general. I admit I’m adjusting to my new latitude with some difficulty. My newest axiom for dense budding plants outdoors is “never let the rain hit them”. I’ve had an ongoing battle with rot on the smaller plant that just irritated the crap out of me.

My bad. I was not limiting responses @Who .
I’m all about anyone who has something to add just jumping right in with it. Greandal was just who I was going back and forth with at the time.
Please feel free to comment any time. I appreciate all the help I can get.

So I see the sense in doing the two seeds of three strains to try and get to my six plant maximum. However I have promised friends that I would run their genetics this grow.
I’ll not go back on that. No matter the juggling I’ll have to do, I’m going to drop one of each strain I promised to grow. As they show sex, I’ll drop more. I have the lights, as was pointed out by @Slick1 , and I have the 3x3 for vegging.

Thanks for all the advice guys but I have to follow through with what I said. It might take 7 months to get them all finished but I will make it work.
Who knows, maybe the state will pony up with my wife’s permit then the problem will not be a problem.

For the record, I wouldn’t be bothered in the slightest if you ran my beans some other time. Things change, you meant what you said when you said it. Reasonable people understand that.

I appreciate that @Eagles009 . I’m eager to drop them though.
Maybe my first six seeds will ALL be girls!! Wouldn’t that be something to crow about!

FYI, these godberry crosses have very tough shells. They are taking a few days to pop under pretty ideal conditions. It may be beneficial to “score” the seeds before you start germ. I have not tried this myself. Or you could just be patient.

Some seeds have very tuff shells
I use fine sandpaper , nail file, I even try to crack it

Is a common practice

If I have really old seed, I will take a small piece of sandpaper and curl it inside a medicine bottle. Put the seeds in and shake it for a few seconds. I find it removes just enuff of the hard shell to make it easier for the seed to pop.

I feel the same way. If you’re going to send me something I need to grow them. I think for some people it’s hard for them to understand because I believe they have so much already. In my opinion my opinion only you have done a very good job Moe. I’ve seen you come in this community and another one with nothing but love and wanting knowledge. For us it is a respect thing. I want you to know something this is truly from my heart. You are one of the best growers out there.

Now it’s time for me to go post my pictures

I am out of likes, as usual, it seems. LOL.
Thanks for the help everyone. And for the heads up @Eagles.
I’ll do just that @BigMike. I’ll use some medium grit. That sounds ideal.
