Thank you @JoeCrowe . That is a very kind thing to say.
Please, do drop by from time to time. I’ve enjoyed reading your posts elsewhere as well. The more help I get from friends, the better likely I am to stay on track.
I like this. It sounds simple. That fits my style. I’m kinda simple myself.
My first grow went 3 1/2 months in veg. They got BIG. That’s when I had to knock down a wall giving me all the room they needed.
Lol I remember when you were doing that
Lo. That’s funny.
I think we’ve all had those moments. I was growing autos and cutting the roots with a blender attached to a drill.I was doing my best to stress those plants out make seeds they made some good hash
Yep. That’s when I left that drop light on when I was working / quality testing my wine after working on the room all day.
I’m thinking that is why I had that one go herm on me.
I think I had 40 plants in a 4 x 4 for two weeks. I had to. I couldn’t do about it.
One ruff ride this year. Lol
Thanks for the friendship guys I don’t know how I would’ve made it sometimes without you. @MoBilly growing 3 tents in one room. I was like what am I doing I don’t need these tents. I knew I had to get the training because it is paying off now.
@Nagel420
Here is what I have. It’s a HM130. I figured I’d show you over here instead of using @JohnnyPotseed ‘s thread.
This one isn’t mine but it’s the same kind of mill.
Mine is extended out to 18’.
Dang , that’s nice & i understand what great rewards spit out the other end !
I don’t get to use it much anymore but my Nephew uses it to cut for the family. I was supposed to be pulling logs today but they canceled. I’ll have to wait for the boys to get free from their other obligations as usual. That’s OK though, they stay busy for sure and that’s a good thing.
damn dude! lol that’ll handle some serious wood for sure!
I’m sure you’ve seen an Alaskan Mill… Its a Yugo compared to that Corvette you got running there! Man, I would be in all my glory with some nice thick, dimensional lumber that looks good too. Live edge here and there for things… Very nice man… I’d love to have one of them!
Funny. It is some wood.
Yeah @Crazy1 I wanted to build a small barn and a few other things so I priced lumber. Then I went looking into a mill. We’ve about 40 acre left in woods so I had plenty to cut. For what I would have had to spend on the barn alone, the mill paid for itself. I also used to cut for a % of product. I got some good stuff that way. I have no walnut on my place of a size to cut but I got some by way cutting for others.
@JohnnyPotseed It’ll take more than my tractor will lift so the monsters have to be winched up my ramps. That’s for the youngsters now. Anything my rig won’t lift is their problem. I don’t have a hydro log turner. We have to use cant hooks to roll them things.
@Nagel420 . It is nice. And yeah, we have cut some live edge stuff. Mostly for other folks but it does create some interesting table tops…,.,.,
Well, back out there. I’ll catch y’all later. I’ll work till I get too hot then I’ll be back. LOL I call it the Summer swing shift.
I had to take a break myself. Man it’s all about getting up early. I can handle the heat it’s the cold I don’t like. I dress heavy in the heat. It all about the wardrobe sometimes. The thing here with the humidity you get heat index with something I didn’t know about till I was about 30. I thought hot was hot
My son and his crew have moved on to their new home now so I’m back out of the shadows.
Here is where I am now.
GDP is hanging
Here’s what I left on the plant for revegetation.
Question is; have I left enough? More than needed? Just enough?
@Eagles009 @DougDawson @JohnnyPotseed @Slick1 @LilJonB @Floyd @GREANDAL @Gpaw @Hemp @HaRdRoC
Oh and I will be chopping the rest when they leave the dark room.
These plants went WAY past their time.
I won’t go into the reason but finally they are getting cut.
I’ll post my long “what I learned this grow” post in a while.
The journal went off the rails for a bit, I know.
Hopefully things are about to line up.
