Interesting… Many edibles have no effect on me, gummies usually zero effect… Cookies I made with my own infused coconut oil I felt a light buzz after 3 or 4 of em… Cookies in Utila that got a few girls from Amsterdam who were smokers WAY baked, barely had an effect after eating 2, and the girls flipped out when I ate 4… But 9 out of 10 edibles have no effect on me… I wonder… Always thought it was my tolerance vs how much was in the edible… Never knew this could be a thing… Gonna have to research it a bit now…

My friend has this problem too; we thought it was a tolerance issue as well, since he’s a very heavy smoker, but I was still somewhat floored when he ate a piece of banana bread with 600mg of RSO baked in and didn’t feel a damn thing. He’s only ever gotten a slight buzz off edibles, and only when coming off a month-long cleanse, so this seems more likely since he’d be plenty high from smoking 6mg and meanwhile 600 isn’t doing crap.

Qp in 4 lbs of butter. Is strong in my opinion. But I do understand some things work a little different.
Some people are not effected by eating THC. You can try to use lecithin. It can help the body to metabolize the edibles.
There is also sublingual/bucal dosing such as a tincture or sucking on a hard candy. Or if you are really brave, suppositories will also bypass the liver, but I am not that brave.

I already use lecithin, I make RSO and the lecithin helps bind it with the cooking oils I use. I usually make cookies or banana bread for myself though; not sure how that would work for turning it into a hard candy. I’m also not sure I want to go to the effort myself, though I’ll mention the option to him and he could always try it. Probably easier to just get a hard candy edible from the dispensary at first. A tincture would basically be mixing alcohol back into the RSO, I guess; though probably not the same as removing it from the heat before all the alcohol’s boiled off, since at that point I’d be handing him a glass of isopropyl. Seems like that would be a worse problem than not getting anything from edibles.

If he is going to dose sublingual, I would make a tincture with MCT instead of alcohol. The ethanol burns like sin when you try and hold it under he tongue.
Mix the RSO with MCT and a little heat.

Lol, ok, that’s easy enough. I’ll see if I can get him here next time I’m cooking; I already use MCT for the cooking oil, so part of my process is heating it and mixing the RSO in with a little lecithin and vanilla/almond extract for flavor. 
So it seems I’m already making a tincture to cook with.

I have tried several times with empty stomach…
I’ve got some Everclear that I extracted some Northern Lights x Mazar in a while back after decarb and others say it’s dangerous stuff. lol
I’m going to add some oil and then evaporate the alcohol.
I wonder what kind of oil would work best? Even if I can’t benefit from it, I know another that will.

I must be losing my mind cause I could’ve sworn I just made a post about something you were talking about. I’ll tell you right now how I feel about feminized seeds. And bisexual plants. Bisexual plants are the most strongest in the cannabis world. They are a true survivor. There is nothing wrong with this plant. It is not what we want it for. And yes they do need to be separated they need to be cut out completely. But but. At a certain time in your grow if you produce pollenInto the mix at a certain time it will make your buds bigger more sugar. There is nothing wrong with a banana here in there like you said before. It’s when you get multiple ones as when you got to worry about. In regular plants. Your window is open a lot longer than with other plants. Do I clone all feminized seeds yes I do all the time I do not hesitate I’ve never had a problem with it. I can’t sit here and argue with somebody that says you can’t do that because they haven’t had success at it. Is all about the nutrients when they were babies. Truly it doesn’t matter if it turns out to be a male or female you still have to keep the plants up for the next stage. That dirt is still good there is nothing wrong with it even if it has roots in it pull them out reuse that dirt.
