Yes, that’s why I’m saying don’t be afraid to beat them up . I saw you did a great job mending that spot on the twisted sister. I’ve had stems that there was a hole that I could see through. As long as they don’t flop over, or I can support that spot, I’m not worried . Branches that flip after I crush them get tied to points higher up the main stem to hold them up. I bent over the main cola of one of my plants on accident and it flows over and kinked the main stem. A couple of chopsticks as a splint secured with twist ties at multiple points, called it good :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:. It held up till harvest. The rolls of twist ties are awesome.

Though yes, I have to say you’ve definitely taken the twisting and abuse beyond what’s needed with that one

Grew said clone, chopped it, jarred it, now the jar is almost empty.

You got that right. That experiment was extreme. I will admit I went further than I’d planned.
Picture the wife looking over my shoulder saying “You’re going to kill this plant”! I’m like " Oh yeah? Watch this!"
Next time it’ll be done for the benefit of the plant and not just trying to see what she can take.

Lol I say the same thing. I’m jealous… lol. You spend a lot of time with your grow. @MoBilly look amazing.

Thank you @Jango !
You are right, of course.
I’m in there a great deal. I found out that, other than the bathroom, the grow room has the best acoustics in the house. I even practice my music in there.
My wife thinks it hilarious and jokes that I don’t do that for her anymore.
I told her that she’s listened to me for 40 years, I like a fresh audience. :slightly_smiling_face:
But yeah, I’m in there a whole lot.

I think they’re into blues. Maybe it’s just the fans but I think I saw them dancing.

And they’ll be loving the extra CO2 along with your dulcet tones😄

Late to the party but I am thoroughly enjoying this diary! You’re doing great Mo! I love how you jump right into the experiments and fancy stuff! I would be too scared to try that being a beginner. I’m pulling up my high chair for this one

@Dalorean !
I’m so glad to have you participate in the fun!
Just jumping into things has created difficulties. LOL
There’s something to be said for locking in the basics before expanding into experimental stuff.
Feel free to jump in anywhere. I love input from all my grow friends on here.

 :v: :cowboy_hat_face:

I use a 6/2 6/2 6/2 veg through out the day and find the plants can utilise the light alot better than under 18hrs of constant light blazing down on them. Try it you won’t look back

I’ll read up more on that. It sounds interesting. That would also, possibly, level off the fluctuations in heat I get with long periods of lights, fans… being on.
Six hrs would more than give me time to do the daily work in there.
Thanks

No problem bro iv found that my plants love it and quickly fell into that light regime in no time didn’t even notice the transition they loved it from 1st day. Glad to help

Are you saying you transitioned from 18-6 to 6-2 in the middle of a veg? What week into veg?
Dang, I figured that would shock the $%^& out of them.

My thoughts exactly, a sure way to start them herming, but it must work. Just read about going back to 18/6 in the last 10 days of flower to ripen off too.

The WW is ILGM stock.
I’m happy with the plant. It’s vigorous and has taken nutes I’ve given full strength with no problems.
