ain’t that the truth
I hope your knee appointment went well the day before yesterday @MoBilly
Would have been nice if they pushed it back again but I am glad it is over with
lol There ya are I was wondering when you’d come on this morning. how’d you make it through those storms?
Thank you @herojuana.tom . This procedure was a stopgap for the surgery to come. The pain is less already and I can tell that it was a success. I can walk without too much pain in that knee. It’ll be replaced eventually but not today. lol
Yay!
Good news!
Well I don’t have to look to know the pond has hit the overflow. lol
There was about five minutes there that I was considering the root cellar.
It got that bad, huh? Glad you ok cuz!
I’ve been out picking up in the yard this morning. We must have been hit with some intense wind for a while. I have to nail down the tin on the goat shelter but the rest is just branches…
Sounds like you made out ok though.
Glad to hear you are feeling better from your procedure and okay with the storm.
OH yeah. No problems. I won’t be hauling any logs out for a few days though. lol
I need a 4wd tractor!
Thanks @Emeraldgreen . I’m not running any 800’s anytime soon. But I can’t complain. This was the best case scenario.
You should be resting to make sure you recover properly. No lifting beyond 5 pounds for at least a week! Sounds like coffee, weed and playing guitar for you
Glad the procedure helped your pain level in your knee… we need in top fighting for to kick butt in the pound cake challenge.
Wife dealing with the same problem, she just had a second cortisone shot done, she has to have one more shot then it will most likely be replacement time, she already had one done…
@Mrgreenthumb
Please have your wife speak to her physician about this procedure. It hurts (I won’t lie) and takes a couple of days for the bruising to heal, but it kept me from having my first knee replacement for at least two years. I had to have it done twice but it helped so much for those two years. I can already tell that I won’t have to have the other one done for now. Possibly in the Fall this year or the next but not today. lol
Radiofrequency Ablation for Pain Management
Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) uses heat to destroy tissue. For pain management, radio waves are sent through a precisely placed needle to heat an area of the nerve. This prevents pain signals from being sent back to your brain. RFA is considered for long-term pain conditions, especially of the neck, lower back or arthritic joints that haven’t been successfully treated with other methods.
That’s been about it since I had it done. Today I’m getting around just fine and dandy.
Haven’t really had any storms here… only ~3/4 of an inch of rain maybe. Nothing like the east coast, Oklahoma nor Missouri
Been doing a lot of sleeping and hospicing a sickly cat lately. SO glad it is finally Friyaay!
They used RF Ablation to burn off some (pre) cancerous places on my esophagus.
I had a condition for several years called Barrett’s Esophagus. Constantly feels like your guts are on fire. Left untreated it will turn into cancer, and then it’s bad news.
Oh thank goodness! That is such good news to hear! I am glad some pain has been relieved, sounds like some good progress!
@BigMike55 !
Wow! I’m dang glad they found that when they did brother!
D"oh! Just read how bad San Francisco was hit… fallen trees and 5 deaths!!! Glad I don’t pay attention to the news much So sad. It was just a little windy in my hood
